I literally laughed so much last night that I had tears rolling down my cheeks. That was quite an effort! My wife and children must have thought that I was completely insane, because I uttered absolutely no profanities and threw nothing in anger. I was resigned to the fate prior to pitch one.

Why was I laughing? Because I finally am free of the bondage of this miserable, underachieving season. Good riddance to bad rubbish!

Many thanks must go to Brian "Satan Elf" Cashman, the Lennie Small of baseball general managers, who may not yet have actually learned that there is a trade deadline in baseball. Keep up the good work! Ha ha ha!

How hard were you laughing at Sean Rodriguez?

Watching the pre-game show on FS1 and I'm wondering, how soon until Raul Ibanez is managing? Seems to check all the boxes that teams are looking for these days.

Texas up 2-0 but Beltre is hurt and doesn't look like he can stay in the game. Not good for the Rangers.

2 plays Beltre would have made and the lead is cut to 2-1.

man price has been total shit today and he's KILLING the jays.

texas gets up 2-0 and toronto battles back to 2-1, right? well then 2R HR so it's 4-1 texas. then toronto battles back to 4-3 and leaves the runner on 3rd (and the crowd is crazy loud there and super supportive) so of course price gives up a solo shot to roughned odor and it's 5-3 now. it's like every time toronto tries to come back price is still out there to give up more runs.....

and it's gotta suck to lose to yovani fucking gallardo, does it not?

Jake Diekman was not a throw in in the Hamels trade. Guy has been phenomenal for the Rangers.

one thing you gotta give these blue jays fans is that they fo-sho turned up..... they're still going nuts getting a leadoff single down 2 in the 9th.

i wonder if their local radio stations gave them instructions on how to cheer gallardo out of the game?

dude it's normal rotation.... of course you're going to go with kershaw in game 1. greinke had a nice year but clayton kershaw is still clayton kershaw. you know, he's at least 1/2 or 2/3 of arrieta!

You throw your best and start your rotation with your ACE..Greinke> Kershaw ..It be be like throwing Lester last night.

Kershaw is getting the nod because Greinke is a FA in a month and he's gone. They want Kershaw to know they believe in him and he's their ace..its dumb... If he gets rocked , and I believe he will (Peyton Manning) cracks in big games. You are hurting the team with the decision.

AJ is pretty good as the secondary color man here. Giving good insight so far, and seems to be working well with Smoltz and Vasgersian.

Didn't realize Chris Young was still in the majors. His Derrek Lee fight was short but sweet. Looks like he landed on with that monster reach.

Not yet. AJ had a good year plus he's sitting on 1,989 career hits. No way he's hangin em up yet.

6'10" guy pitching to a 5'5" guy and the 5'5" guy wins. That's fucking awesome.

Maybe the Cubs should target someone else this off-season.
