Lets be honest, that is an idiotic statement. He gave up a 2 run HR to Soler that was a mistake. But the first 3 were on balls that never left the infield and throwing errors. Maddon's employment of the safety squeeze worked out well too. Saying Garcia shit himself is stupid.

if I told you that Hendricks would go 4 2/3 and leave with no runners on and a 6-3 lead, would you have been okay with that? he did about what one might have hoped for. Getting him out before carpenter and Holiday came up was the right thing to do.

Wood struck out Carpenter on 4 pitches, but was behind in the count 3-1 because of bad umpiring. To his credit, still struck out Carpenter.

That sounds like the most unbelievable strikeout of all time.

Looking at the pitch-track, it showed he threw strikes on 3 of the first four pitches, yet the umpire called 2 of them balls. Was that really so hard to understand?

Leave Wood in for the 7th. Don't get cute and bring in Cahill or Rodney.

That should be an error. He had the glove on it.

The error was when the announcer called it a bang bang play at 2nd.

Here we go......Wainwright. Just need Rizzo to put the ball in play to the outfield, or......how about another bunt to the left side, where there is just 1 infielder in the shift???

Cant see that there is enough conclusive evidence to overturn that one.
