For taking over a garbage Michigan Football program that went 5-7 last year, and transforming them to a ranked 5-1 team who has shutout its last 3 opponents, 2 of whom were ranked.

He's the best program rebuilder in the country.

i don't think the players were ever the issue?

I'm sure the Wal-Marts in Michigan love the guy.

BigFan also relayed a story of once seeing Harbaugh in a Casino at the $5 Black Jack table going crazy.

Hey do whatever you want with your money, but damn, how many millions has Harbaugh accumulated over the years? At least go to Target.

Deadspin, though the below passage comes from USA Today.

None of this pleases Mr. Harbaugh’s better half. His wife, Sarah, told KMVQ that doesn’t like her husband’s clothing and “will not take blame” for his style. She said she’s tried to persuade him to catch up with the times (“pleats are gone, wear the flat front”) but has backed off this year because whatever Jim’s been doing is working well for his San Francisco 49ers. Not that she hasn’t tried to force a change in the past, however.

“I’ve thrown (his pants) away many of times. I threw them out and when he went to the combine, he found a Walmart. They were $8. $8!”

Is he just re-adjusting at the end there, or was that the beginning of a Papelbonesque salute towards the call?

I do not care what is in or out. I cannot stand flat front pants. Pleated is the only pants I will wear.

Anyone else remember the night the Bear drafted him and he went on TV with the Chicken Pox? Hard to believe he was a Michael McClaskey pick.

I remember in his second year when he was third string QB, he was on the kickoff coverage team for at least one runback

I still have some pleated pants I wear golfing. My wife keeps trying to tell me to get rid of them. Happy to see Michigan
bounce back and be competitive. We will see what happens against Mich St and Ohio State though.
