Wow. The Bears had no business even being in this game, but they are going to overtime. If they pull this out I won't know how to react.

Great catch by Berrian, I thought it was a bad throw but Berrian bailed out Rex.

Cutler has proven he can burn the Bears on the deep ball. They have nothing to lose so just make sure you DON'T GET BURNED DEEP.

Come on Robbie..... Rex gave you a perfect spot placement, just do your thing.

edit: YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

an emotional victory that in the end really probably means nothing.

If they win, sadly we will have to hear about all the false playoff hope.

shades of 2001, if the Bears beat the Giants next week there only one game behind the number one wild card team.

Grossman stepped up, never thought he would drive the Bears down the field.

This still is the worst 5-6 team I can remember.

Adrian Peterson had a few good runs, didn't he.

Thanks, Devin!

i disappeared for a while while watching the game at my parents, but my god, reading back the posts on here i dont know what to think...

what i thinks:

1. this offensive line is awful. grossman was under pressure the ENTIRE game. i see alot of people ripping on grossman...the first fumble was odd, the second one was because he was being chased from all directions and got stripped...he was under pressure the WHOLE game. and TONS of dropped passes by the wide receiever...i'm so sick of people ripping on this guy when so many passes are dropped that could pad his stats..

2. i think the stat about how the offense only had ____ yards in the 3rd quarter or whatever - thats a retarded stat. the reason being: the offense didnt have the ball very much the third quarter...two times they were supposed to get the ball, they returned the kick for a TD - so the defense was on the field most of the 3rd, getting carved up by cutler. note: the broncos had the ball for 13 minutes in the 3rd quarter.

3. the defense still cant tackle and yes, archuletta needs to be cut ASAP

4. it was a super fun game to watch, but i hope nobody gets super excited about it...take it for what it was, a fun game to watch (kind of like last week) and they won - no big deal...i have no hopes for this team this year and if they win/lose the rest of the games, i dont give a shit, i just hope that the games are as fun to watch as they have been the last few weeks.

5. the bulls suck. oh wait, wrong forum.

To celebrate, I think the Bears should start a parking lot bonfire with Adam Archuleta and Fred Miller.

Archuletta would fall down and fall on the fire.

Just read through the whole thread, and this was my favorite line.

Also, props to Coztansa for noticing that Wale is playing well. He had a great game today, and is having his best year as a Bear.

Mark Anderson is worhtless on 1st and 2nd down. Alex Brown needs more time.

A lot of dropped passes. Grossman wasn't great today, but he had no shot early on.

Yep, the chocolate Fred Flintstone got benched - at first I thought they put St. Clair in there for the 'OT eligible' trick play that they used on the KC Chiefs, but then I noticed Garza lined up to his left.

is it just me, or the Doug and OB post-game show the recipient of the worst callers ever.

call after call of retards taking 3 minutes to say "hey, you know, that devin hester? he's pretty good"

unfortunately, tomorrow will be just as bad. the offense is to blame for the points given up.

Different game if Miller and Benson finished it.
That TD by Peterson was way out of Benson's league.

i agree. it would have been very hard for Benson to be pushed by a group of five huge men into the end zone.

I thought Peterson ran extremely hard, and he doesn't go down on the 1st hit typically, something that Benson typically does do, which you'd think is the exact opposite of what should happen. He ran with a lot of heart today, pushing forward quite a few times, and I hope they stay with Peterson going forward.

AP will retire a Bear. I've always liked the guy and thought he was a keeper.

I watched the end of this game at a restaurant and about shit my pants. Enough with the Rex bashing, get him a solid line and he'll be fine.

The receivers and TE's need to go back to catching 101. Pathetic.

It's nice that Peterson runs hard, but he's no NFL starting RB, not that we have one anyway on the team
