But it will be Cubs blow jobs and Bears victory confusion and angst. Heard Bigcat say Alshon Jeffries on Spiegs and Goff a hundred times today. B&B have me so warped now I kept wondering how Dan would handle glossing over it without his head exploding.

"Shift Change"

Speigel stopped calling it "Tranny" so as not to offend transsexuals/transgendered, and now they don't even call it "Transition" any more? It's "Shift Change?"

As ridiculous as that sounds, that sounds about right for the direction of this station.

Speaking of this, I cannot stress how offended I was last week at my local Target when I realized the boys and girls' toys still were segregated.

No idea if shift change is sponsored by the wolves or if that is why it changed. If not the sales team is inept.

Don't forget that Josh McCown has been the best QB in the NFL over the last 3 weeks. Or certainly top 3. I'm just talking performance wise. The son of a bitch has a 102 passer rating this season.

Won't hear much of mocking him and the fans that thought he was decent.

He's not great. We all know that. But he's certainly not horrible like B&B have said.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but as the sun is setting, it's a bitch on the right fielder and even the 1st basemen as it's below the upper deck and appearing through the fences by the ramp. So you might see some errors.

Yep. They were a 10-minute drive me a couple weeks ago. Zero desire to go. I always hit up W&S remotes, though.

Have been near me a couple times....I am fearful to go....I am afraid I will just walk-in...punch a midget in the face...and leave. :(

Why did I turn this on?

Bernstein says the Cubs fans are better now because they're getting richer, smarter people in the park. Geez.

You've missed some great Cutler appreciation today.

I logged on solely to type this in case no one else heard it.

Dan: Cubs fans just seem smarter now and less crazy. Might just be me, but I definitely sense a difference.

Terry: Why do you think that is?

Dan: Well, pricing for everything down here is really high right now. Parking is $100.

Terry: (jokingly with a chuckle): So, are you saying the Cubs are pricing out the stupid?

Dan: (with that serious tone aimed at letting Terry know he wasn't joking) Well, maybe, yeah.

Silence

Dan then went on to say how it's probably also because this entire regime from Theo on down has been so logical and measured that there's nothing to worry about. The future is bright anyway.

comeon dude he's been on this b4... he talks about how at bulls games your lower deck fans are the doctors lawyers and executives and your upper deck fans are "the riff-raff" who aren't GOOD. MONIED. PEOPLE. (and i think that's an actual bernstein-ism) and are you seriously gonna tell me that joe six pack up in the upper deck only paying $47-85/seat is REALLY a "better fan" than a smarter/monied/superior person paying $200+/ticket in the lower deck? SMARTER/BETTER PEOPLE = SMARTER/BETTER FANS. especially when you consider that people in the upper deck are just dumbass mouthbreathing drunks anyways cuz LITTLE KNOWN FACT = rich people never have drug/alcohol problems because they're SMARTER/BETTER PEOPLE. period.

so yeah i'm with bernstein here.... if only we could have sports teams championed by the doctors/lawyers/GOOD-MONIED-PEOPLE then we'd arguably have the best sports team in the history of sports because dan said so. and before you even consider thinking that dan might be wrong, how much do YOU get paid to go disseminate your thoughts on a 50kw torch of truth and righteousness? eh?

that's right, foe list yourself and thanks for reading.

Who knew the secret to success was expensive parking?

It's The E-Z Out Philosophy.

he's not saying the Cubs have priced the fans out, he's saying the ticket market has. And he's been saying it all day. Apparently in Dan's world everyone was a moron fan in 2003, that was said Friday.

who the fuck pays for parking at wrigley?

seriously even if you dont use that free shuttle bus thing down irving park, man, you can park in the neighborhood if you know what you're doing. when i did the cubs game on friday sept 25th with my baseball uncle i saw "GAME #83" (between wrigley/comiskey/miller) on his scorecard and the dude boasts that he's never paid even so much as $1 to park at a MLB ballpark since he started going in 1963 or something.

paying to park is for lazy/idiots, who in bernsteinville are better people cuz they're obviously smarter to have more $$$ to go spend $20-100 on parking.

I'd pay hundreds of dollars to avoid taking a bus.

Yes, and ironically enough, he was just hypothesizing earlier about how awful it would be if Jim Belushi threw out the first pitch. I didn't realize Belushi was poor.

Dan: With the wind blowing out, there's the chance for a statistical regression for Rizzo or Bryant.

Terry: How about a hit?

Dan: Well, that's what I mean.

 Yes, I'm hate listening.

I think the White Sox may be in a good place to capitalize on all the Cubs fans that aren't fans any more because parking is too expensive.

Working from home today so I haven't heard a second. I must say, the wealthier the fan, the smarter they are. Obviously. Case in point.
