conversely, it seemed like every time that fucker cockland (think "oakland") did something it adversely affected my main fantasy team in some way shape or form. thank god he fucked right off for the championship cuz if he had a 4HR 12RBI week i was ready to go proper mental.

maybe sometimes maddon tries to be a little too smart for his own good, perhaps a bit too proactive? when it works he doesnt have to wash his groin for a week cuz bernstein will take care of that, but when it doesnt we tip our cap to lackey or something.

regardless, i'm glad that soler forced his way into the everyday lineup for the for the foreseeable future and schwarber has likely gotten himself some benefit of the doubt going forward in LF. i think this is basically the lineup you gotta go with going forward unless you're really trying to outsmart yourself and show off that you're super matchup man.

Cubs will need at least 5 runs to win but more realistically 6 or 7. Hammel is a national tragedy right now. Even his last start where he did "good" he couldn't locate the fastball and was behind all the time. Can't do that vs the Cards.

If he can go 5 with less than 4 runs given up, I would say the Cubs have a chance.

this is not an original thought per se but I think today will be all about Clayton Richards. I see La Stella, Coghlan coming off the bench and winning the game. And I think Soler will be solid again.
