It was a lazy throw, no doubt, and obviously Baez's error, but there's some blame on the other end too, as it was really a pretty routine bounce for a guy who is heralded as such a superlative defender at first.


Meh...I think Rizzo is excellent defender...and that throw was wide, had a longer hop to it, and not much behind it. I would not call that a "pretty routine bounce". Happy trolling though.

Jerry leveraged Ricks desire to live here , work in pro sports and have a more than comfortable life, etc into locking him in here no matter what happens. That would be a great example of something not taught at Northwestern or Harvard, but something that you learn when hiring and firing.
