Ok, I heard this. But not one or two callers later he's explaining to a caller that everybody playing in a game can statistically, in essence, be a bad ass. I think he used the word "Variance" to support his point. My client heard this and said "what fucking stupid nonsense." I had to apologi that he had to be exposed to such.

You are right. He has set up the perfect situation. The Cubs are great based on WAR and all his other meaningful stats. But none of it matters as once the playoffs begin the "variance" makes anything possible. One player can go super hot or ultra cold and so on.
