The bummer in all of this is that we have such a faggy victory song.

I won't bother digging it up again but that 2014 MLB draft thread never gets old.

yes!

I got to celebrate the final few innings in a gym full of Cardinal fans!

Has been a WONDERFUL evening!

My 2nd daugthers 8th grade volleyball team finished off an undefeated season to make them 20-0 for their middle school career, and the Cubs knocked the Cardinals out of the playoffs!

Had the Cards pre-game show on during the drive home from work. It started 30 minutes prior to the Cubs.

Some host and a St. Louis writer both agreed that "Just can't see any way Lackey doesn't win this game".

They didn't account for the "Get his dick pounded" option.

Congratulations to the Cubs and their fans.

I look forward to a great rivalry for the next decade or so.

that's what happens when you're used to winning.

In fairness, most Cubs or Cards fans didn't expect him to throw a get me over breaking ball to the pitcher, who rips it for an RBI single. That was the beginning of the end for the Cards today.

the attitude changes when you have a winning tradition in a franchise. blackhawks fans are like that now; bulls fans were like that in the 90's. steelers fans, yankee fans...i would've expected cardinals fans, for the most part, to think they would push this to a game 5.

I'm remote playing "Go Cubs Go" at every St. Louis-area bar jukebox. I'm trolling Cardinals fans the RIGHT way.
