Yep.

There's no pressure opening on the road.

You have to think both Dodgers and mets fans are happy they get to play the cubs. Thinking them to be very beatable based on the past. Hope the teams try to look past them as we'll. cubs bats need to continue to show up...and defense needs to be better. Too many errors. Go Cubs!

Do you start Lester or Arrieta game 1?

Then you're looking at Lester with over a week off. Does that throw him off?

You don't think twice about Arrieta. You might throw him 3 times.

I'm pulling for L.A. if Greinke goes game 5 ..The Cubs will get to see their Scrubs for game 1 and 2 ..Throw Arietta game 1.

But then you throw scrubs at Kershaw and Grienke for 3 and 4.

I disagree with everyone here, Mets are the easier matchup for the Cubs.

If the Dodgers win Kershaw would be ready for game 2 on normal rest.

Mets 0-7 against Cubs in 2015.

I'll take my chances with the Mets young pitchers. Dodgers have too much Kershaw and Greinke for me. Still get Kershaw for game 1 on 3 days rest or game 2 on 4 days rest. Greinke gets game 3 vs Hendricks/Hammel.v

Get ready for a strikeout fest. Cards struck out 28 times in final two games against us, and I think the Mets have struck out around 48 Dodgers in four games. Could be ugly.

Next round drop Hammel and gimme some Haren. Game 4 next round I don't want Hammel seeing anytime on the bump.

Let's go bullpen day mixing and matching Wood/Richard/Cahill/Haren to hopefully find 7 innings.

I saw Motte in the dugout this series and for the love of God need to make sure he stays a cheerleader only.

He did make a huge difference in their offense. but they also lost their SS, so there is that to factor in too.

Yeah they each only have to go once in a 4 game series.

If they play the Dodgers, it would be perfect. Lester would not face either Kershaw or Greinke and the Cubs have an advantage in the game 1 matchup. Arrieta goes in game 2, and is the one guy who gives the Cubs a good chance to win that game VS Kershaw. if they go up 2-0 I have to like their chances. If they play the Mets, the offense will have to continue clicking against what has to be a top 3 starting staff, if not the best overall.
