But it is ridiculous. Anderson Cooper said ahead of time he would not "craft" questions to do that. He also said his "colleague" for the CNN Republican one wanted and did do that. Why in the world do we have different attitudes and questioning rules for debates is beyond me?

While it wasn't a circus, I will say that Anderson Cooper did his trademark piss-poor job. At least his opportunities to preen and pout into the camera were limited. The throws to Don Lemon were unnecessary to me. It's like they had to fit him in somewhere.
