SHARK
12 hrs ยท
"I've got Big Balls. I've got Big Balls." Yeah, I've got "Big Balls" to play this early classic rocker from this Australian band's second international studio album released in September of this year. From "Dirty Deeds Done Dirty Cheap", "The Class of '76" wraps up with this track from Bon Scott & AC/DC:

What's a facebook DJ? Meaning that he posts youtubes of songs? I do that sometimes, but I wouldn't say I do DJ patter.

Put me down for that question as well.

He posts songs quite often and in a row as if he were a DJ. Usually with a DJ type description leading in...

Sometimes he has themes and even breaks into third person

[Shark's Last Name]'s got a year this Wednesday night...
*Montreal, Quebec hosts the Summer Olympics, while Innsbruck, Austria hosts the Winter Olympics.
*The United States celebrates the 200th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
*Jimmy Carter gets the Democratic nomination for President in New York, while Gerald Ford gets the Republican nomination in Kansas City.
*#1 Movie: "Rocky"-$117.2 Million-Won 3 Oscars including Best Picture
*TV Debuts: "Family Feud" (Richard Dawson), "Alice", "Charlie's Angels", "What's Happening!!!", "Laverne & Shirley", "The Muppet Show", "The Gong Show", "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman" & "Quincy, M.E."
*TV Ends: "Cannon", "Marcus Welby, M.D." & "The Rookies"
"The Class of '76" is in the spotlight. Leading off is birthday rock from this guy who turns 75 today. It starts NOW with Cliff Richard's "Devil Woman":

t's time to start rockin' for a Tuesday night, FB friends. This only seems fitting, especially when considering the Chicago National League Ballclub took care of business and sent the Cardinals home for the winter in the NL Division Series. It's also movie music, too. This track is for you, Cub fans. The late, great John Belushi & the very alive Dan Aykroyd played them in the 1980 Universal picture titled "The Blues Brothers". Jake & Elwood start things off with "Sweet Home Chicago":

Better than posting nude selfies.

Kinda surprised he doesn't have faux call letters like WSHK for a tagline at the end of some of the intros.

Why doesn't he just make a demo tape and get himself a show on one of the volunteer community stations in the burbs? He has the passion for it and can probably get through a sentence with less stammering than an XRT jock.

I think Huntley and Round Lake have stations that take volunteer programming. Not sure what's out there closer to Chicago.

The board needs more SHARK.

I'm sure Sox subdivision would welcome hike back with open arms.

say what you want about SHARK but the dude was genuine.... idk why some ppl wanted to shit on the guy for his "internet/messageboard reporter" schtick, but what he posted was borne out of a pure desire to inform people, perhaps even entertain them, and maybe have a laugh or two along the way..... but i still think the board isn't 100% of what it was 2 years ago without our guy SHARK patrolling the waters always looking to technically advise us about 100.0% factual updates about the media we're interested in, even if he was indeed a little anal retentive about things all "UH [USERNAME], ......."

ah well, c'est la vie no?

I don't click on the songs but I usually read some of the copy and read it in my special SHARK voice in my head. He is missed
around here for certain but not sure he would ever come back.

Fox Execs are suicidal after getting Kansas City Toronto while TBS gets two major markets.

They signed up for Yanks and Red Sox and got Ned Yost

Great pic!

Yeah, I think it was 2008 or so when OKC used to follow SHARK around the forums making snippy replies to all of his posts.

Kind of reminds me of the way Chus is following Pittmike around the forums now.
