if you go actor, John Cusack probably gets it. He's been a big fan for a long time and actually attends games. Eddie Vedder, Vince Vaughn and Jeff Garlin (if he can throw) might be good picks too. But I hope it's a former player.

Though he lost his left arm, Dravecky has actually thrown out the first pitch at a Giants game....right handed.

Having no connection to the Cubs, this nomination is summarily dismissed.

I sat 2 seats away from Blago one year on opening day. I'll give him this much, he paid attention to the game and knew the team.

Ditka....yes. Maybe do the 7th inning stretch in record time again too. No, scratch that. Keep the video of Harry leading the stretch instead. That is the way it should always be.

whoever the oldest living cub is..... dredge him up, get the caretaker on board, and get em out here!

remember, you wanna look out for the caretaker over the family cuz caretakers literally have CARE in their name and the family is just a bunch of money grubbing assholes praying he kicks it soon.

The oldest living guy who would be known as a Cub is probably Turk Lown. But old guys actually might consider him a White Sox guy. Monte Irvin is still alive and he played with the Cubs for a minute.
