What difference does it make what they did with Schwarbers ball?

I was wrong when I said the Mets' lineup was Wright, Cespedes and a bunch of bums. It's Wright, Cespedes, Murphy and a bunch of bums. Big whoop. The Mets are no good.

For a point of reference, I have now watched every team that won this round celebrate with all the bells and whistles.

Just in case Cicero Dave was wondering

For the record, because I'm not sure if sini has me on ignore or doesn't read PMs, Dodgers or Mets would be difficult.

I prefer the Mets. Just a personal preference.

But I also believe the Cubs are pretty good and could cause problems for the Mets as well.

Chill, sini...

this is why i get annoyed by cubs fans.... it's like you have to bow down and worship the cubs and can't even say that you think another team has a pretty good shot against them because it's like i'm somehow taking something/anything away from the cubs by saying that the mets are pretty damn good too.

seriously dude, tell me where i insulted the cubs or said METS IN 5 or i'm running around telling everyone they have no chance.... i'm just tossing in some perspective that the dodgers losing tonight prolly means a harder path to the promised land.

i'd tell cubs fans to act like they've been in the endzone b4, but who am i kidding? y'all prolly need to go to google maps to find a football field =P

I don't think that's what Dr Ken said. Your first post came off a little strong on the Mets and he said chill.

Seems like you had that "kids table" response ready to go and were just waiting for any one to disagree with anything you said.

Both RFDC and Dr Ken said it'll be a,tough series

The 7-0 is prerty much irelevant cause its a wthile new offense but beating de Grom and Syndergaard aleeady is a positive

Most telling thing i learned about the Mets in the NLDS is their pen must be hot garbage. In a win or go home game, you pull a starter out to throw the 7th and then have your closer out for the 8th and 9th. I don't see a lot of trust in that pen.

The Cubs have been grinding out walks and smacking homeruns. The Mets have a young staff and I see very high pitch counts in their future. Hope there pen is ready for 3-4 innings of work a night.

Time to find the hate again

One could argue that prior to realignment, the Mets were right up there with the Cardinals as far as baseball foes go. I hated the Mets in the 80's and hated them even more when we signed Howard Johnson and he had nothing left. Screw the Mets. I'm not going to watch any Seinfeld episodes while the series is ongoing.

For the record, and in no particular order I loathe the.....

Knicks
Pistons
Packers
Vikings
Cardinals
and Mets.

Screw em all.

It really doesn't make a difference. Its a little over the top for sure, but its not a big deal.

If the Sox did something like this, bigfan-- among others-- would have started 4 or 5 threads about it by now.

4th Sox fan to say

"If the Sox did something like this bigfan would have _______"

hey man, its tough jumping from head to head, but easy enough due to the empty space for landings.

GO CUBS!

They wouldn't have done what the Cubs did. The Sox would've commissioned a statue instead.

Even the Sox would not have built a statue for a solo home run in a game that they already had a lead in.

You're right. JR would make taxpayers foot the bill.

I want 4 games with the Dodgers.

You happen to get a screen capture of that one for me?
