Counting the amount of posts that Rock makes as KS and the times he makes them, it appears that he has given up on doing ANY show prep for the morning trainwreck also.

Show prep? LOL! The only prep this show has ever had is going to the newsstand, and buying a Sun-Times & Tribune. Hell, Pappy probably just sends Rock down to the studio lounge to steal them.

I'm not "Keeping Score" nor have I been told to "cut down on my posts".....it's just quite honestly, I don't post everyday like some of ya'll. If you view my postings, you'll see that they are spread out like normal. I don't need to post everyday like some of you, but sometimes I log on, give my opinion, and ya'll rip me apart like a piece of meat.

From about 11am to 4-5pm you know where i'm at....if you got something to say to me, ya'll know where to find me from the info listed below.

Plus, I'm not hiding like alot of people I know of that post on here.

Let "Keeping Score" do what he does, it's nice to have a change of pace once in a while on these boards.

And as for the prep thing and giving up on the show.......if any of you know me and what I do at the station, don't comment on it if you don't know my work efforts/habits.

why do you guys rip on Rock? If you think the show is bad it is almost entirely due to North. I doubt the producers have much of an influence on what goes on. Its Mike's show and he decides how its structured, the only other person that can have much of an influence is Mitch if he decides to

As I've stated before, I think Rock is a decent guy. The music he plays going into and coming out of breaks is usually the best part of the show. Now if only he could get Mike to shut his big fucking mouth, and stop talking over it. I'm trying to hear some Hatebreed, and I have to listen to North screaming,"We'll be back, with some old fossil no one but me gives a shit about. Plus, the Real Estate Game!" No, I place the blame squarely on the shoulders of the host of this abortion.

Rock decides to posts on this board, so people like to use him as a scapegoat for their Mike North frusterations. What do you guys expect Rock to do? You want him to come on here and say "Mike North sucks" and "I hate working for North and I half-ass my job." First and foremost, I'll give Rock the benefit of the doubt. If he disliked North and didn't like working for him, I doubt he admit it on this board. It would make more sense to not post here at all and avoid comment about it rather than say something that might get him in trouble by the WSCR bosses.

I agree that Rock probably did set himself up for the abuse he takes by deciding to publically post here. But having said that, Rock isn't the reason why the North show isn't good radio. We are talking about Mike North, the guy who is believed to have strong pull at that station... do you honestly think a producer tells Mike what to do or have any meaningful pull on the direction of the show. Think about it.

Making things personal with Rock or the rest of the staff won't make the show better. Do I think the Mike North show sucks? Hell yeah, I do. Hey Rock, it's not your fault. It's not like Rock is some politician in Washington trying to raise taxes. This is radio; unfortunately, some people seem to forget that.

I would never say that Rock is responsible for the garbage North show. I just don't like it when Rock says we have no right to criticize North. We are not in the radio business so he thinks we know nothing. By that rational nobody including North could criticize Managers and GM's in sports. Rock, you do see the hypocritical aspect there.

Rock, you have often said you admire North because he speaks his mind. That he is more outspoken then most radio guys. All the people who post here are just speaking their minds as well. No difference.

The thread wasn't started to rip on Rock. It's true that most of the posts from KS come from the Score during the hours that only Joe O. and Rock are at the station. Simple deduction leads you to Rock, or the two of them together.

To put it nicely, the people who name call and make things personal on this board, would most likely, never say those things to anybody, face-to-face. No one can find them, they are safe from facing serious repercussions. After personally attacking someone on the computer, knowing nothing can happen back, it makes them feel good; because they know they can't get that satisfaction in real life.

I used to call and e-mail the show but since I dont listen I stopped. I called him seveal times for mispronouncing Eddie "Curry"'s name. He said he wouldnt change. After the Bulls drafted him and Mike would have to talk to him, Mike all of a sudden pronounced it correctly.

And for your info...Mitch Rosen responded to an e-mail I wrote daring me to meet him to discuss my anger towards the Score. I named the place and asked to set a time.

As you can guess, NO RESPONSE.
