There. For those of you who think I'm just anti B&B producers just to be anti B&B producers, this dispels that notion.

His drops are timely and funny. He's also one of those guys that doesn't speak much, but when he does, he can be funny. He's also well spoken and seems fairly intelligent. Or at least he displays that he's not a dumb ass. That's rare for a B&B producer.

I don't know how much sports he knows. Because he really doesn't talk sports when he speaks. I know he's a music guy. Maybe he has no interest in doing a sports show. Maybe he's content with being a producer. Maybe that's also why he doesn't seem bitter and angry like other B&B producers because they were always pissed that they weren't a talk show host. I don't know.

Anyway, I like Tanihill.

Wasn't my fault. The board has been doubling up for some reason. Check the time stamp. Same.

You need to stop blaming external things for your troubles.

Time to start taking responsibility for your actions.

Tannehill does seem more comfortable in his role as a sound specialist. Unlike other producers, he rarely/never does night/weekend shifts.

I think he used to do some long-running hip-hop show on college radio, either Loyola or U of C.

yeap, that'd be the long running "chicago hip hop project" on WLUW, so that must be loyola university radio..... i didnt know he left it, but i know his old twitter handle was his DJ name @cosmroks and i figure he must have had a 5-10+ year run doing it.

i looked it up and idk who the djs are even.... i never really listened beyond a few token listens tho it was one of those things i was always like "i should listen more", but i guess i was always more of a chicago's sound experiment WNUR head, especially for strictly jungle chicago back in the day.

put on ceephax's exide rider @ the midway breakdown part and i always gotta go "you're listening to chicago's sound experiment 89.3 FM wnur.... strictly jungle chicago.... this saturday at the liar's club it's brock out!!! with special guest phantom 45 and resident dj kid entropy.... 21 and up. yeah. i'm dj snuggles and let's keep this going"

ahh that brings it back. maybe if i was 10 years younger i'd have those kind of expriences with the project? c'est la vie.

He just seems comfortable in his role, doesn't have an out of control temper, isn't looking for attention. In stark contrast to his less mature co producer, drinky. Tani is probably like 10 years younger than drinky but you'd never know it. Drinky behaves like an ass hat, frat boy, brat. Tanihill must roll his eyes at drinky like Bernstein does at times. Nobody in this B&B crew feels comfortable flat out telling drinky that he makes a fool of himself on a daily basis. And drinky is not very self aware so he has no idea his co workers think he's an idiot.

Beardown, please provide your psychoanalysis of Drinky's bizarre rants during the D Rose media day controversy. Was it warranted? Or do you think all this stuff with Drinky is explained by a childhood Oedipus complex?

WTF? Were you trying to trap me or something? Like I'm gonna comment on stuff that I didn't hear or, in this case, didn't happen?

There's enough weirdness by the SCORE people that I do hear. So don't think I'm gonna lie and comment on stuff that I didn't hear.

Nice try, I guess.

I thought he was black the first couple years of him getting any air time at the Score.
He's seems like a decent guy but those Draft Kings reads make me want to be deaf.

Why does a show need two producers? I don't think these guys have pre-show meetings, they have the same regular guests each week, and they are remote once a week. They don't take a ton of calls, but I suppose that's a task for a producer as well. I assume there must be a purpose for two producers, and why one can't handle a 4-5 hour show solo.

I thought one handles the phones and the guests, and the other handles the actual making sure that we get to hear what these dumbasses are saying.

He's decent from what I remember. I'll give him points for not going heavy on the smarm and not having a sense of entitlement. He should learn from the failures of those that went before him (Aaaahbattacola and Goff) and pivot. The station needs some young bucks who aren't lunkheads or Bernstein clones.

How do MattaBatta and Rongey not feel horrible for trying to get these dopes to spend money on an "education" that at best gets you a horrible paying job as traffic reporter or WSCR producer. It really is a borderline crime.
