The loss is not to be hung on Lester.

Bryant handles the force play at third to get out of the inning and Castro not being tagged out on the Cespedes throw is a two run swing.

Maybe Maddon has a little Baker in him.

Much rather have Soler's bat in the lineup, but he's weak when it's cold. Hopefully C.C steps up, he's been shitty as of late.

Funny how quickly things change. Not too long ago some were upset that Soler was in the lineup, now some are upset that he is not in the lineup.

I like the extra lefty vs. Syndergaard

I don't like Lester and his grey beard caddy. Just wrong to put the loss on him.

Don't be that guy. I was upset with Schwarber being out of the lineup. I understand the reasoning behind sitting Soler after watching him last night

ehhhh, i think the lineup is significantly better with soler in there, but if you think that you've got a better defensive unit out there in an arrieta start i guess i can understand this being the game where you're going to give him a rest and keep his bat in play for any crucial PH appearances... you figure that you're not going to need 100% of your offensive firepower for an arrieta start, and i think getting cockland some more ABs might keep him that much fresher and in-the-game for later down th3e road when you're coming up on geoff blum territory

Their starting pitchers are on his fantasy team so he's doing a happy-dance on Scorehead/Elmhurst Steve's smug faces.

Taking Soler out is the right move.He hates the cold.

I still think the Mets suck but I forgot the Cubs are cursed.

i'm not even happy-dancing on cubbie graves or saying the cubs are gonna lose! i'm just saying #TheyAreGood, which is fortified by my watching a lot of mets baseball this year!

right now d-murphy is having a tremendous playoff run that's way better than, say, adrian gonzalez. but most people would say dodgers > mets cuz they have hitters like adrian gonzalez while the mets have hitters like d-murphy! thats what i'm trying to say here

Soler had a HR against Syndergaard, but he looks miserable in the cold. Coghlan is 2 for 4 against Syndergaard, and more likely to put the ball in play. I'm okay with the move. Just know this......It won't make any difference. In Jake I trust.

Not trying to be that guy.

I can honestly see both sides of the deal. Soler has been playing really good so far in the playoffs. He looked horrible yesterday.

Maddon has seemed to have a pretty good feel for picking the right guys. I like having the extra lefty in Coughlan. He has had some pretty big games and stretches as well this year.

Arrietta struggles tonight. This isn't a must win but it would be nice. The Cub bats continue to be cold. I hate the Met.

Met 4
Cub 1

I'm going to try to be positive because the Mets really aren't any good but that's why losing to them would be so infuriating.
