I doubt she gets the Dancing With the Stars gig or Good Morning America job if not for this happening. 75 million is ridiculous. Was she harmed? Yes, even if she also profited from it, she was probably humiliated and certainly put in danger from having her room location given to the stalker. But no physical harm came to her and in the end, she did profit from the whole thing. $500,000 seems like a fair number to me.

I can't put a price on something like this. I don't have people lining up to get pictures or video of me naked. I have no issue with her increasing the damages. It's all a part of negotiations. They don't expect to actually get $75M or anywhere close.

Yup. As an attractive woman she should expect to be stalked across state lines twice, have her hotel room information distributed to a stalker, have her privacy invaded, and then have nude images of her taken without her knowledge distributed all over the internet. Then when she seeks damages, she should reduce the amount of money she seeks by the dollar value of the fame supposedly created by being an unwitting victim of the crimes mentioned above. In other words, people seem to be saying she should know her place.

2. Is the detrimental effect it allegedly has had on her career. It hasn't been detrimental at all. That is easy to see. It's also difficult to make the emotional distress argument if she is perfectly willing to always put herself in the limelight. You would think that she would go out of her way to refrain from publicity but she hasn't.

It's all subjective on how much she should be paid but she clearly deserves a fairly large payout from the huge billion dollar corporation that facilitated the whole crime.

Just like Wal-Mart having to pay a huge sum to Tracy Morgan, Erin Andrews deserves a huge sum from Marriott.
