This isn't a curse, this is just a team getting its ass kicked.

Nope. Cubs are far superior.

Are the Cubs lazy slackers?

Fine, I'll humor you: no, this isn't a matter of effort, their pitcher just isn't pitching well in a pitcher's park.

Luck? Hot?

What the actual fuck are you people talking about?

Last night was a winnable game. Arrietta is clearly hurting/dead arm. The Dodgers would have been beaten by any of the other NL playoff teams.

What comes around goes around. Tide will turn. Luck only goes so far and so far Mets have been lucky. BELIEVE.

Gotta figure when their guy one hands one off his shoe tops and it gets out then next half inning one of yours gets brought back its not going to be your night.

  You are unreal. The Cubs have gotten every bounce and every stroke of luck over the last 6 weeks or so. And to their credit, the Cubs have taken advantage of everything. Its just going a bit the other way now, which happens in baseball.

Now go ahead and come back with a petty insult rather than a legitimate reply.

My head says there is a lot of game left and to not panic.

My heart says fuck, fuck, fuckity fuck fuck we are doomed.

I am choosing to side with don. There is plenty of time left. Arrieta looked much better that inning. Cubs will get to this long haired loser soon

Unfortunately. Need to prepare for a 3-hour death march.

I've seen this movie. Garvey/Clark/Murphy...Sutcliffe/Prior/Wood/Arrieta.

I'm ready.

If any of us catch a Howard's Pontiac (ON GRAND AVE) ad, then we'll be cooking with gas.

Cubs will come back and make this a game tonight. Why reply to you my friend? How is your team doing? Ready for spring training? If the Cubs lose tonight as they look like they will they still will come back to Chicago and play on Tuesday. How does it look for the south side baseball schedule in October? Done.

anyone else noticing that the wind keeps on blowing through the bleached blonde burrito's hair as if he were posing for the cover of a romance novel?

Cubbie hitters sure whine a lot about the k-zone. Ump's calling it the same for both teams. Deal with it.

Syndergaard is awesome. It's the Mets lineup that is fucking atrocious. Giving up more than 2 runs a game to them is completely unacceptable If you are a worthy champion.
