The odds of Hendricks and Hammel getting it done in back to back outings has to be low, though regardless of what they do we're going to need to score some runs. Does madden change once there are expectations? He never finished the job in Tampa...they always lost. I feel like he has managed this series differently. Putting Lester 1st, pinch hitting god awful La Stella instead of Montero last night, leaving La Stella in the game and benching Baez....Doing the same shit with La Stella and Baez tonight.

It just feels different. There were no expectations until this series and now they are playing like shit and the managing has been odd.

I'm not sure what you mean. I don't believe I've posted anything about the Cubs during this series. I told you I was indifferent to the outcome. I just find it very strange that guys could spend months talking about how great a manager a guy is and then turn on a dime and question him like he's a fool over his choice to pinch hit for a career .200 hitter. Maddon didn't lose these two games any more than he won the Cardinals series.
