You jest but MLB's ever extending calendar is terrible scheduling.

It wouldnt help the 2015 Cubs but Im of the opinion that the playoffs should have no mid series off days like the season. You need at least 4 pitchers that way.

Yes, Harvey and Syndergard get Kudos for just doing what they do in the playoffs. Many have tightened up the giggy when it comes to the playoffs. Kershaws perfomances prior to the this year, Dempster, even Arrietas first pitch. These guys are so much better than what they showed....but pressure gets to you.

for tonight don't forget that degrom had nowhere near his best stuff in game 5. he let in 2R in the first inning and then there was a stretch where 55/70 pitches he threw were with RISP..... so if he's that sloppy tonight and letting people on wholesale i think this cubs lineuip/team is going to make him pay a lot more than the dodgers did.

it's entirely possible that degrom is out of gas cuz this ~204 IP is uncharted territory for him, so we'll see what happens tonight. the series isn't over, but the baseball gods prolly gotta get off of their ass and help the cubs get back to that timely hitting that massacred the suckass cardinals.
