Soler swings at ball 4. He had to with the crummy strike zone. Smarty pants Hendricks better have been taking notes and not throw another pitch above the belt.

From the front angle those pitches looked low. When they showed the side angle, they seemed to pass at the knees.

This ump is fuckin terrible. The strike 3 call on Fowler wasn't even all that close. If that's a strike, you're completely handicapping the hitters.

Fowler's "strike" was only just out of the zone. The most egregious call so far was in favor of the Cubs.

Otherwise, all calls so far were accurate.

They'd better get the bullpen going; this umpire does have a tight zone (on most pitiches) so far, but he's flirting with disaster. Cubs can't afford to fall too far behind NY tonight.

Montero should have done a better job framing that pitch.

The catcher is moving the mitt a lot. Those are pretty close inside pitches.

Is it a strike if you hold your head over the plate and get hit?

The beyond middle-aged guy behind home plate with the Marlins jersey and sideways visor looks ridiculous.

Habs up 2 on St. Louis early in the second as they try to stay undefeated and help the Hawks out.

Is Lester the definite Game 4 starter pitching on 3 days rest? How has he fared?

Is they can get 5 innings out of Hendricks without him blowing up, that would be a victory in itself.

Just trying to be your friendly neighborhood out-of-town scoreboard.

DeGrom was a SS in college. He can swing it a little bit.
