Saw some blurb come up on twitter about predicting the Cubs rotation for next year. This particular site/publication had:

1. Arrieta
2. Price
3. Lester
4. Zimmerman
5. Hammel

Come on man. There is no freaking way that is the rotation. No way they add Price and Zimmerman in the offseason.

Let's be realistic here.

If we are breaking the bank i would prefer Grienke.
But I do not expect either. I expect they will add 2 guys who are middle of the rotation guys to go after Arrieta and Lester, then Hammel or Hendricks will be the 5

I think they will do a lot of work in the bullpen.

i prefer a team i can root for.

we already have one shithead in lester. adding insufferable dicks in shark, latos, or lackey would be disastrous.

What has he done to show that?

I dont want him as 1 or 2 guy, but as a 3 or 4 he could be valuable.

Lackey maybe a tool, but he is a tool that finds ways to wins games. That works for me.
