Agreed. Beardown is also a top 5 poster. It's the velvety black light poster division, but nonetheless.

I see your lack of talent evaluation extends beyond just the Cubs.

He has a unique angle for sure. But he got skewered all last year in the hockey threads for bad thoughts and deservedly so. If he can't make hay on his hockey thoughts, then what do we have to fall back on, his quasi-liberal political views and hatred of small town America?

Wealth of knowledge on the radio business both in and out of Chicago
Pretty decent music thoughts overall
Some good Cub and Bull stuff
Understanding of Bernsteinism is probably the best on the whole board

Spaulding was once in my top 5 but motherhood has taken a lot away from her. Now she just makes statements and when challenged says "I don't know what I think".

Dennis is like a jilted lover when it comes to CH.

I spend very little time in the hockey threads.

Biggie made a huge mistake letting all those banned clowns back in. Maybe he is the one who lost it.

Think I can easily exceed his Bernstein knowledge, but choose not to. :D

My view was described as passive/aggressive with CH. I'd have to admit it was an accurate description for a time. I have had jilted romances with JORR, BR, and CH vacillating between love and hate. JORR and BR are definitely on the upswing while CH is in a distinct holding pattern. Now for favorite poster....it may be Don Tiny because he consistently knocks it out of the park. I am actually frightened that I get his brand of humor. And my avatar is an obvious clue as to my affections.

Thread title makes me think of Dennis Miller. Dude's television show on HBO was appointment tv for me in high school/early college. Now, I don't think I could listen to the guy for 15 minutes.

Same here (but middle school for me). For me to call Dennis Miller a formative influence would be to call the Battle of Stalingrad a snow day, babe.
