I enjoyed the episode overall. I just had a few questions. Was the part showing the girl in the beginning showing how the girl got to the
Alexandria compound or was it showing her getting back there after leaving and trying to make it on her own? She didn't have any family
at the compound correct? Also it appeared to be pretty obvious foreshadowing when the one wolf took the gun on his way out of Alexandria.
I was happy that there was some focus away from Rick for once.

I think it was showing her before she got to Alexandria.

Great episode.

It was definitely before since she called the people with her mom and dad.

I'm amazed that this show seems to have actually gotten even better from what was already a high bar. This show is approaching Breaking Bad territory, and I think I may already like it better.

The only thing is that I'm not sure this show really has an ending. I mean, obviously things can happen that cause the show not to have a reason to exist but outside of a cure there really isn't a way to wrap it up.

Death is the ultimate end.

I totally missed that. Maybe I will rewatch the opening again.

Edit -- I rewatched and totally missed it. I watch these early in the morning and had the volume down at the beginning.

Spoilers.

Glen isn't dead.

That was Nicholas' body on top of Glen getting chewed up.

Well, fuck. That was unceremonious.

What's up with Rick's hand? No way he'd lose a hand.

When did this show get so awesome? It sucked for so many years.

Respect.

Did a little reading. I'm guessing you're right.

Call complete BS on all that if true. They could have had a mind-blowing episode.

Now I think the are setting up something else.

If he's not dead, then it's a cop-out.

If he was dead, I'd think he'd be on Talking Dead. Talking.

I don't know anything. But I don't think he's dead.

I agree.

HardwicK talking about not having anyone from the show on to let the fans deal with this together.

Enabler!

Just curious. Like to know the perspectives.

Loving this season. Don't know what the fuck is going on.

Me too.

It's been fairly awesome.

And I am surprisingly enjoying the disjointed storytelling from episode to episode.

Yeah, I usually hate that shit...telling the same story 3 times.

But it's been great.

They can't drag it out now. But they are going to. I think I see two episodes already in the next 30 minutes.

Another great episode. One of the hallmarks of a great show is that the emotions of the episode last beyond the end of the show.

Not sure how to feel though if he isn't dead. I don't want him to die but it also would kind of seem like a cheap trick to let him walk away from 5,000 walkers alive while others trip on a tree branch and don't make it.

My only thought was thinking back to the scene in the first season where Rick and Glenn cover themselves in zombie guts and the zombies leave them alone until it starts pouring rain. Maybe he can play dead for a while.

Scott Gimple's letter to fans:

Dear fans of The Walking Dead,
This is a hard story to tell, and when we were planning to tell it we knew our friends at Talking Dead would be talking to you about it, and knowing you’d all be talking and feeling and commiserating, I knew we should say something about it, lest our silence say something we didn’t mean to say or not say, so I’ll say this. In some way, we will see Glenn, some version of Glenn, or parts of Glenn again, either in flashback or in the current story, to help complete the story.

That is a curious way to word it.

Will Zombie Glenn come for Maggie and she'll have to kill him?

So, Glenn will survive, if you care about knowing things like this.

Hopefully it is done in a good way.
