Listened to transition. Goff is a moron. Said the ONLY reason Golden St won the title last year was injuries, which is dumb. GS had the best team in the NBA from November to June. That statement also conveniently ignores all the injuries LeBron teams have benefited from the past 5 years. Goff is such a putz when it comes to the NBA.

Jason's criticisms of Stephen Curry have always been oddly fixated on melanin levels. "Everyone loves him because he's a light-skinned brother who makes jump shots." Isn't anyone else allowed to be exciting in this league other than LeBron?

Don't let the laughing fool you. That's just a medical condition probably. He hates whites cuz Bernstein taught him to hate whites. He hates light skinned brothers for reasons that I'll never understand.

I enjoy taking shots at hosts when deserved. In all the years I have listened to sports talk radio, Goff comes off as a pretty nice guy. His current partner has kind of rubbed off on him where I sense an increased level of arrogance and all about me stories. But Goff would be one of the first guys at the Score that I would want to hang out with. I can't see him hating me because I am white.

And everything about Bernsie is just a contrived act. It is one giant troll job.

Before he left for Atlanta he had a long running "Bash Da Ma Na" campaign. Why? Cuz Dan McNeil is the worst type of white person according to Bernstein which was taught to Goff. That's a fact.

I think Goff has a style distinct from Bernstein. I recall Goff challenging Bernstein quite a bit on the show.

It was a strange relationship between Goff and Danny. But then again, Danny rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. I guess foreign substances will have that impact on your friends and family. I doubt Dan is rolling up much in the way of other people's GF's. I think he mimics Coach Q at the end of a hockey game with the team down 2-1.

You have to admit, denis, that Goff has fallen in line with BernSTINE now that he has returned. In fact, he is lock fuckin' step. Oddly enough, before his, uh, move to Atlanta he was throwing haymakers at Mac and not letting up. I think he knew that BernSTINE was the kingmaker, the Mac was on his way out and that BernSTINE had something planned for him...possibly taking over Terry's seat when the time came and/or the Grim Reaper arrived. That would explain his stabbing Meat in the back, his bragging about not being prepared for the show, leaving ASAP when it's over and being a bad teammate.

The old Goff? Jason from Evantston? He's gone now, he's been gone for a long, long time.

I don't know about that. I remember Mac letting Goff sub on his show when his Lord Bernstein was having Rozner and Rosie sit in with him and passing him up. So I thought Mac was very good to Jason for doing that.

When I listen to Spiegs & Goff, it seems like they mock Bernstein. I agree that both of those hosts are scared to directly take on Bernstein, but Goff has a much different style than Bernsie. If anything, DiCaro has become the female version of Bernstein with her push on social issues. Goff merely seems to care about sports and bragging about his own exploits. Sadly, he never has any interesting stories. His life is probably boring.

In the post-Jordan years a contempt for shooting skills became the hip thing. And shooting well became something that was associated with slow, thick-legged white guys, the Birds, the Alfords. If you were an athletic Big Black Stud, why would you bother learning how to shoot? Just. Dunk. The. Damn. Ball!
