I think if you were the teacher, and BRick and I were disrupting the learning process of everybody else on the board, you would probably tell me that.

I would imagine that, regardless of age, BRick would be teaching the class.

You think he could teach and argue with the class at the same time?

But you need to be able at some point to just say Shut up Rick and be mad. We can't always just let Rick be Rick. People get time outs here, it doesn't happen in school anymore and sometimes the class or group is involved and that's stupid.

So, in essence, these kids are being conditioned to not be able to solve any of their own problems/conflicts etc.

When taken that way the end result makes more sense.
.

Completely.

Have no idea what they teach them.

last month sat for lunch with a bunch of 13 year olds and they tell me they all sit in calss with laptops, sending messages back and forth.

But watching the nephew play the part as if he was in actual head pain because of these questions, then he is OK when he plays Xbox.

You are on in both of you posts. I should post the math problems, show you the way they want them figured out, and then how it's not really evaluated but they are passed. It's messed up.

Working with others is a great life skill to have.

That's why I get along with everyone, even the people I don't like. Your kids will end up being just like me.

Sounds like you need to work on your social skills.

we aren't allowed to ask ages obviously during phone interviews or interviews but man you can certainly tell how old they are based on their resumes. our team dumps any resume that has any SJW'ish stuff in it.

as for preparing children for the harshness of life, we homeschool and have ridiculous expectations for our children who sometimes fail but we love them anyway and are willing to make the time to make it work.

in turn i have to listen to people wonder how our kids are every going to function in society without developing the proper skills they would get in public school. I then have to interrupt and point out that their child is literally gnawing the legs off that table over there.
