Goddamn motherfucking shitty Wonton Gourmet today... ugh.

Also, I'm picky with bacon at (lunch / fast food) restaurants. Most places use applewood or give you soggy bacon.

Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton. Food is alright, the setting is great. This is now in my regular rotation of meeting spots.

1st time I have had a problem at this Arby's. Yesterday Taco Bell gave me a regular Pepsi when I order a Diet one, the ticket even said Diet. Been a rough week.

Depending on what you order, the food is far better than alright. Especially at dinner. They have Prime Rib on Saturday I think and all you can eat fried chicken on Sunday. The chef is a long time guy that worked at a number of Joe Carlucci's places and took that job so he could collect a pension in his retirement years.

Did you move? You were in Geneva before right? I've never been there for dinner, only lunch, & I had my Mothers 80th Birthday party there in a banquet hall upstairs. They did a great job. Alexis the banquet/catering manager is great.

You had me till the red sauce. I use it, but just a couple dabs here and there. Then I go through about 5 little cups of the Tahina sauce which IMO is the best tahina ever made and the key to Pita Inn's success. I could drink that stuff with a straw and practically do when I pour it on the shwarma.

I've got issues with the McDonalds decision in my neighborhood. I have two that are both about the same distance from my place, Irving Park/Elston and Addison/Lane Tech. So, do I go to Irving Park where there's always a big line, but they only mess up the order 15% of the time and the food is in good condition (for McD standards) or do I go to Addison where there is rarely a big line, they mess up the order about 60% of the time and often the food is not in good condition and sometimes it isn't ready and you have to do the dreaded pull up to no man's land move.

Scorehead is a bachelor today as Mrs Scorehead is at her annual Christmas cookie bake with her high school friends. I cooked 5 pounds of mussels one pound of shrimp and one pound of scallops in honkers ale butter and garlic. It was glorious. Breakfast was Vodka on the rocks. Not sure why but I'm wearing pants.

I cooked 7 pounds. I ate about 2. Mussels are mostly shell. 5 pounds of mussels might yield 2 pounds of meat.

Sounds like a great Sunday buffet. Vodka on the rocks in the morning while wife is gone is a glorious relaxing start to the day.
