Week 1 is usually the time to make the biggest impact on your team with the waiver wire. Unfortunately, I am so awesome that I am going to be 12 out of 12. I feel I need another WR with Watkins getting no passes, Quick being benched and Wheaton turning into a pumpkin in three weeks.

I just don't see any difference makers out there for me. James Jones is available and I will make a claim but he isn't doing anything great.

I think Cole Beasley might step up with Bryant hurt. He may even make it to me.

i'd imagine that dion lewis is going to be a hot pickup.... same with terrence williams of dallas, or whoever that pretty-OK WR on dallas was last year. if mariota wasn't drafted he'll prolly get picked up en masse this week. i'd imagine that james jones of the packers is going to get scooped up a bunch too cuz aaron rodgers was looking his away and don't forget that he technically had a 3rd TD wiped out by a penalty (2nd at the time and he got it back later tho) and since most default yahoo leagues have 3 WR slots you figure people are going to want someone who can get a nice chunk of those jordy nelson #s.

that WR with the long hyphenated name on the bucs is probably going to get scooped up too cuz he had 100+yds and 2TD last week and i think mike evans got hurt too. plus with *james (cuz jameis has to be a typo or a misguided phonetic spelling, right?) there and lovie staring down a 35-0 in the first half you figure tampa's likely going to be winging it around a whole bunch (lovie's forte) so who will this year's mike evans be, especially if actual mike evans isn't around and it's not like vjax is getting any younger.

You're kidding, right? I said I would most likely be 12 out of 12 in the waiver wire. That means I had the best first week.

I ended up with Dion Lewis. Not bad, but I'm not sure that's what I needed. I'm looking a little thin at WR if foot sniffing jagoff Rex Ryan isn't going to throw the ball to Watkins and Pornstache Guppy is going to keep sitting Quick

I can't get a trade going to save my life. I have Stewart, Lewis, Mc Coy and Ingram at RB. None of them are great. All of them are good enough to be starters. The best I can get is WR4 type players in return.

I ended up getting Crabtree in waivers this week. He's ok. He might even be good enough to stick with throughout the year.

Is there a reason why I'm hanging on to Julius Thomas like grim death? Is he going to do anything when he gets healthy? Jordan Cameron is banged up again (surprise surprise) so should I drop Thomas and pick up Vernon Davis?

Jordan Reed is 2nd among TE in Targets and so far is 13/145/1. Gotta have a big week coming up.

I have the 2nd priority so I put in a claim for McFadden and Blue. I bet the 1st guy grabs McFadden so I'll end up with Blue. Still an upgrade over the turds I currently have.

The first guy took Blue so I ended up with McFaddon. I'm cool with that.

Chris Polk might end up being the guy in Houston.

No doubt. That team is Watt, Hopkins, and a whole lot of suck.

I'm taking a flier on Amendola this week. If any team can support multiple WR having good games, it is the Pats.

He will probably see less action with the return of Lafell. Is he available?

he's gotten 9 targets each of the last 2 weeks... seems like a dart throw though because generally speaking edelman, gronk, lewis, lafell should be ahead of him

Didn't Lafell just have the worst game of his career basically? Might need more time.

I have him on one team. I didn't start him last week because I have Antonio Brown, Brandin Cooks, and Mike Evans, but I wouldn't worry about Lafell going forward.

He has Brady throwing him the ball. It's not Dan Fouts, but it's pretty good, nonetheless.

I'd sooner pick up Michael Crabtree, Robert Woods or Chris Hogan.

I already have Crabtree.

I have two bell cows at WR in Antonio Brown and Hopkins. Then I have a nice stable of #3 with Ginn, Crabtree, Watkins and now Amendola. I pick and choose based on matchup. It's worked out well so far.

Cutler or Famous Jameis as a one week starter this weekend

Cutler is facing the 20th ranked pass D. Chargers are depleted on D and the secondary. Forte is missing so they will probably need to throw to move the ball. The problem is that this is a game Cutler will have to win for them and he always seems to throw picks in those situations

Winston is facing the 28th ranked pass D. He has WR and TE coming back from injury. Giants will most likely score some points. The problem is I could see Lovie trying to run the ball all day.

That's a coin flip. If your opponent has any Bears, start Cutler. If they have any Bucs, start Winston.
