The Bears put Hub Arkush in peril and that is not acceptable!

Bernstein is right though. The Bears should have made more of this known at the time given what has happened with places like Kansas City.

Huh? The Bears fulfilled any obligation by notifying the police. Does Allstate get on the airwaves with warnings they have a disgruntled employee?

Bumbling fool John Fox is NOT the one to have the conference to notify public of the threat. That would be the front office.

Reaching out to Halas Hall is about to occur. Go Danny go. The rest of the show is "fluid" like all their planning.

I would guess they would if they had another location that had a murder-suicide fairly recently.

At least a warning on twitter about a potential situation to be careful of would be good.

If you feel threatened enough to call the police over a potentially dangerous employee then you gather everybody up and put them somewhere safe. Common sense. Once again, the Bears show their Bearsness.

The Bears had a duty to hack those travel time electronic signs on the tollways and put out an alert notifying all Cook and Lake county drivers to be on the look out for a large angry man.

I'm guessing you can't really separate the Lake Forest PD and the Bears, as much as 'alerting the white public' is the PD's job. And it wouldn't surprise me if the Bears influenced the PD to keep this whole incident on the down-low, which is fairly negligent.

So yes, Dan's right. However: do you want to listen to it for 4 hours and thereabouts?

The threat was directed at the Bears not the general public. If it was he would be charged. He is not unless the Bears pushed for it.

Today marks the day they turn on John Fox. Chicago Bears are basically the professional PSU.

Bernstein had me laughing during transition. All riled up and talking about getting the Lake Forest PD on the air to answer tough questions. Ok

He'll just wait for 670 to air a press conference, while screaming which questions those reporters (you know, the ones actually there) should be asking.

At no point in time have I ever taken Dan as someone who would have the temerity to question a pizza delivery guy. When he does this sort of routine, I take it as nothing more sincere than when Stern would break into his faux "how dare you"s ... except Howard would tell just about anyone where they could get off (figuratively or literally for that matter).

Maybe if anyone was really reporting from Halas Hall, people would know about the imminent danger.

Dan of all people should know this, when you live in a dangerous neighborhood, you just move away.

Waiting for a response to my text.

"Do you think the Bears should move their facilities from Lake Forest, since it's so dangerous?"

Why would he know this? Was it taught at Duke?

Regardless of what you think of Dan Bernstein, you can't argue the fact that John Fox comes across as a total Caller Bob.

Terry: Yep.

Hub: He he he. Well, look guys, there are no heros in this except for me. That's the important thing to take away from all of this. Once again, I'm the hero.

Bernstein: Couldn't have said it better. Thanks Hub and be safe, Ratliff's wherabouts are still unknown. I've got a call out and will inform you once I find out his exact location.
