Don't think for a second that the Lake Forest PD isn't aware of Bernstein putting them on blast. The Chief is probably trying to figure a good story, but he knows he's gonna have to talk eventually.

Bernstein absolutely LOVES this shit. Most of his shows - particularly the SJW variety - are based on hypotheticals and speculation.

Notice, he also talked about Kane and 'he even has an off duty Buffalo Police Lt accompanying him and driving him'.

Umm, yeah, Dan - that's called BEING RESPONSIBLE. Many famous people hire security to keep fans and ne'er do wells away. Many of those security folks are, wait for it, off duty police officers. In addition, the SMART thing for an athlete - or anyone with means - to do when they go out partying is....HAVE A DRIVER. If your driver happens to be an off duty policy officer who can keep the peace, double bonus.

Regardless of the outcome of said evening, Patrick Kane having someone serve as security AND having someone drive his drunk ass around (so he himself or his bros aren't driving) may have been one the smartest things he did all summer.

I sent a number of texts in. No response.

Specifically, he talked about it being well known that local pds are in bed with various colleges and pro teams. I asked him - do you have SPECIFIC information that the Lake Forest police are 'in cahoots' with the Chicago Bears and are actively engaged in some sort of conspiracy to fool the public and knowingly put them in danger.

That really is quite the accusation.

Plus its good to have a go to guy who can walk into the evidence room and tamper with it or just make a phone call and have it destroyed.

I have to ask you guys, this is a all just a bit by Bernstein, right? Does he walk around scared of everything? I don't know how he lives in Chicago, in Roscoe Village where hundreds of armed robberies happen yearly. It seems like just a big attention grabber. Like someone else on here said, Bernstein is a modern man, not a man.

I'm guessing they're pretty used to dealing with alarmist jooz in that neck of the woods.

Well, Dan is right, he should have been arrested for threatening to kill everybody in the building. He was also publically intoxicated. He was a threat to society other than Halas Hall. Lake Forest police have to explain why he wasn't arrested.

With regard to information and injuries please enlighten me as to how he is any different than Q?

I think Bernstein ejaculated during the last half hour of the show just talking about the idea that the Bears may have to pay Ratliff off for having released him with a scrambled brain instead of putting him on IR. It's like showing Leery pictures of young white weatherwomen.... the mix of Bears ineptitude, social justice, exploiting minorities, etc. just sent him over the edge.

Fucking hypocritical bastard, without the Bears he probably doesn't get a stint as a beat reporter for the Score, which means that he never hosts, which means that he never gets better contracts. The fact the Bears exist is probably sufficient to pay for sending both of his lovely children to a proper SJW college like Michigan.

I'd like to say that I'm done listening, but that's inevitably not going to happen. But for the 20-35 minutes or so I have free to listen 2-3 times a week, I've been listening to Bomani Jones on XM80 much more than Dan. I don't need SJW ejaculation on my radio.

In reading all of this am I to understand that they are all over Fox for doing what he is paid for, to face the press and speak for the organization? The original confrontation happened in a parking lot with the GM? The organization has someone who handles security? So were they really taking Fox to task because he wasn't in the parking lot and handling security while being in charge of getting 53 players ready to play football?

Considering that most downtown offices fire employees weekly, some of them even big black men, a few of whom might be armed, who in the fuck does he show up for work? Maybe that's why they do the remotes mostly on Fridays?

Dan better consider that Christmas is coming (for Christians), there'll likely be firings, so emotions could be extremely high. Better stay home and he and Terry can do the show by ISDN.

If you listened to the show after reading the board and embrace it as self-parody, it was actually pretty damned funny.

I swear I heard Spiegel laughing under his breath (has to be, Goff doesn't know how) when Bernstein mentioned calling LFPD.

Then they replay the Fox tape (which was humorous on its face) and Bernstein interacting with something that can't respond saying "why do you have police at your house?" something that only he has heard and may not even be true.

Dan goes on remotes once a week in front of the contemptible drunks he insults on a daily basis and he's afraid of a big black guy halfway to Kenosha? I don't even get it.

Wow. After reading these posts, I am glad that i have by XM radio and don't have to listen to B&B anymore. Class definition of PTFB or must miss radio.

I follow the show through this board. The show has become MSNBC with sports. Bernstein's liberal social agenda has pretty much destroyed the show. Any opportunity for him to take a sports topic and turn into his political agenda is pretty much what this board has most days anymore. Can't this guy move on to a liberal talk show where he doesn't have to fit a Bears or Blackhawk story into his agenda? He even has an update lady who reflects his political agenda. I have no doubt why she's on that show.

friday was a rough listen, this coming from a fan of this show. 5 hours of blasting the bears for not sending out an amber alert that a large black man was on the loose.... not ONCE did they ever go in to detail about how the bears should have acted... only that they were egregiously wrong with their course of action (which i disagree with)
