Hawk down 4-2 in the 2nd. Darling in goal. Not too fabbo, tonight, but he's not getting help from the Keystone Kops 2nd and 3rd defensive pairings tonight. Granted, there are a few Rockford callups playing, but other than Line #1, not much of a fight so far.

Either the league solved Darling or he's back on the sauce. This guy's not an NHL goaltender anymore. Sorry for thinking he was. My bad.

I get it, Darling has to play.
Hawks win this going away if Crow was playing. Timing sucks sometimes.

Stupid over-paid Toews again though......lack of offense and whatnot.

Well, at least we're not Anaheim, I guess.

You're just guessing at that?

Please keep in mind the missing perennial Norris candidate.
The new "male model" perennial Norris candidate. Did you guys see those pics? :|

Even when Keith gets back, there's too much crap on the roster and no way to purge it all. Daley, Bickell, Svedberg, Desjardins, Darling, Rundblad, there's nowhere to hide such a collective lack of talent.

While Im not quite as gloom and doom as Mr Hair, the team is a little hard to watch outside of Kane Toews and Panarin, They have some major issues.

Feels like the 2011 team that had so much crap on it: Pisani, Mr. Jen-Jen, Skille, Dowell, Cullimore redux, Ryan Johnson.

I agree. I love giving it to CH......so to speak, but this team is massively flawed.

Weird thing is, at the start of the season, I expected the D-men to be the headache. And then they lost Keith.
But I'm WAY more frustrated by the offensive........crap. Giant pile of crap.
There's like 8 guys that have no idea how to actually put the puck into the net. That's 00's-level Hawks ineptitude.
Finishing a goal is a skill. It's troubling.

Well, they did score four goals last night, with two actual 5-on-5 goals!

Granted, a not-so-fresh Darling was in goal and played about the worst that I've seen him, but last night showed how bad this defense can be.

I'm not going to worry too much, yet, as I think the team is using the early-going to see who can stick and who needs to go, and my expectations are not high, but if they are still struggling by Jan. 1, then we have a problem.
