In his new book, he says that Tiger treated him like a slave. You made roughly $12 million carrying his bag, you buck-toothed douchebag. I must have missed history class that day we learned that the slaves were paid millions. You could have just quit, if it was so awful. It must not have been that bad for you to stick around for thirteen years.

Fuck you.

I would need to see the context. Just because you pay someone a lot of money doesn't mean you have the right to mistreat them.

Nomination denied until further proof is offered.

He said that he was treated like a slave. Automatic DB for that.

He should have quit, if he was so mistreated. He could have looped for another golfer.

The book comes out now that he is retired. Convenient timing.

Joe Maddon would never write a book like this.

I cannot imagine the boredom in the life of a person who would read a caddy's memoir.

I think he actually said that he felt like a slave when he would have to scurry over to retrieve Woods' thrown clubs.

He was complaining about Woods throwing clubs down after a poor shot.

So, being paid $12 million to pick up Tiger's clubs is being treated like a slave? He hated being treated like a slave so much, yet he looped for thirteen years? I would like to be treated like a slave.

Williams is nothing more than a backstabbing opportunist.

"The Green Road Home" by Michael Bamberger is a great book about a caddy trying to break into the PGA tour. Its a little dated now, i think it came out in the late 80's/early 90's but it is a very well-written and interesting book.

All of Allenby's caddies could tell a tale, I bet.

I don't disagree with you, but there is some context to the tale. It was in reference to a particular task/behavior, not the entire career.

If my boss throws something at my feet instead of handing it to me.....over and over again because he was pouting because of his performance, I'd probably not like being treated like that. Even though I was being paid.

Again, being paid $12 million to carry Tiger's bag is not equal to slavery, no matter how much of an asshole Tiger is.

Agreed.

Maybe "slave" wasn't the best choice of word. If he said that Tiger made him feel like he was less than human when he was throwing his clubs and making Williams clean up after him would Chuster still be DBing him?

Slave was a very poor choice of words, but he hasn't always been the smartest one to know what to say either.

Again, no one, including Williams, is saying it is. Williams was talking about a particular aspect of Tiger's treatment of him, not the entirety of the job.

Get some focus Chus, you're coming in hot and breaking up.
