I really belive in karma and fate and that good things happen to good people and your on your way to great things. Jurko said Kerry Sayers is single again and if I were you Id be hanging at the brew pup after Hawks games waiting to swoop in on her.

I've been out of the women chasing business for almost 18 years..Where do guys even meet the ladies these days? Besides street corners and bars.

This is a great point, Doug. but there are exceptions. I would see this is the easiest place for it to start, but in my case (and I'm sure there's others) it took knowing each other 4 years and multiple overtures on my part for my wife to give me the time of day.


You are correct Spaulding. the fact is kindness gets you friendship not dates. Yes, the friendship could eventually turn into something more, but if there's no attraction, it's a long uphill battle.

Those of you that know me know that I am not the best looking man on the street. There is visual evidence of my lack of physical charm in the Nellies thread below.
That being said, I have been very successful in the dating scene (and now I'm married, so there's that for what it's worth).
I've said this before, but the absolute key to getting a woman creamy (after you've scored the initial conversation) is to talk about them.
Face it guys, the chances of her being into your interests is probably low. Women, in GENERAL (I don't need specific examples here, I understand that some of them are into sports ok) won't dig talkin Blackhawks, they don't want to hear about your car, your band, or your whatever. They just want to yammer on about themselves. Let them, ask them leading questions about themselves that will get them talking. When a wwoman is talking about herself, she's not walking away. Ask them about their career, their friends, the asshole she works with who just doesn't respect her enough.
Making solid continued eye contact is KEY. If you do that, you'll make them think that you're intoxicated by them. Ask them questions, questions, questions. For the next hour, that woman is positively the most fascinating thing on the planet. Women feel the need to be wanted, on a higher level than the poon. You need them to feel comfortable, you cannot be domineering at all. She has to feel that you are non-threatening. Make yourself a little smaller that first time you talk to her, humble yourself, but don't be a pussy either. Flashing cash around makes you look like a tool and it'll work on the shallow long enough for her to take your money and go away.
This was the advise given to a young Darkside back in 1992 and it has served me well ever since.

Oh, Kindness, by the way, sets the stage for a doormat relationship. Be yourself, but, don't become subserviant. That's a bad way to start off Mac, I've done the nice guy thing too and that was my WORST relationship by a wided margin.

Funny. The opening post has a different connotation with the author being Spaulding and not Fat Bastard. I remember reading it and thinking "who is this guy?"

I knew such a "chick". She was the hotness. Problem was I was dating someone else at the time.

She shared with me that sometimes she'd go to work nakid under her Clinique smock. I can never look at those makeup chicks again w/out thinking they're naked now.

might have to go by me some new cologne...ask them what they think smells best.

Bad idea! The smarter ones will immediately realize that this means arthritis once you hit mid-40s and potential joint replacement/fusion in mid-50s after the liver, kidneys, and heart are half-destroyed by anti-inflammatories.
