If someone falsely accused me of rape, if that is what happened, I would use every last dime to discredit that person. Wouldn't sue them but would make it my life's goal to make it known that they lied.

While Kane is not the same as Bill Cosby who is going to have to testify in a suit brought by Janice Dickinson, if you make the accusation that the accuser is lying they can sue you for defamation, put you on the stand and force you to testify, and all with a much lower presumption of innocence.

Kane already won. The accusers mom made that a certainty.

As for being sued for defamation, she also has to prove that she isn't a liar and that would mean deposing everyone else. If she can't/won't do it for free (District Attorney), what makes you think she's got the coin to go the Gloria Allred route? The reason Kane won't go after her is then it does become true victim shaming (as she is now a self-described victim) and sympathy would extend to her by the SJWs who think Kane should do better things with his money.

How long were they there?

Who left and when?

How did she get to the hospital? Known.

What happened? Who leaked what, and to whom? And when?

She lawyered up before talking to the police (criminal defense).

I could go on. Tim Graham from the Buffalo News broke the story first. He's now been relegated to the back bench on Sunday's story. That's an editor's move to punish a reporter, add your byline one more time to the retraction/clarification story.
