Although Tony LaRussa and Sparky Anderson are the only managers to win 1,000 games in each league (and I believe to win the World Series in each league) - I'm of the opinion that LaRussa is the most overrated manager of the past 25 years.

A) He should have AT LEAST had more World Series appearances with the bevy of talent he's had

B) He's an insufferable prick, who thinks he knows everything that's in the "Unwritten Rules of Baseball" even though the book was never written

C) Hawk Harrelson fired him, so he can't be any good.
