I hate Joe Cowley.

I like Matt Spiegal.

this show is better with Joe. I've said it before and it's true today. These guys interact honestly and you feel you're getting a good scoop from both.

if I knew Cowley was in...would have listened.

Like the Kap and Co revolving door thing more and more. Cowley would be a good one.

so...Coop snitched on everybody.

Jeff Shark hates Coop.

Jeff got to do what he wanted so Sale also wanted to do that.

Coop is a fraud of a pitching coach who keeps his job because of his snitch ability, which almost got Joey Cora fired.

On and on. I'm for putting a mic in Joe's face every day with Jason.

bigfan, with the Score separating from the Sox, gotta imagine Joe gets hired by the Score for full time somewhere. He's a full blown idiot, so he can play the North role, but he also has STUFF. Not Dan Bernstein sourced stuff, STUFF.

you should listen to the podcast of today's show and tell me anything in the last half hour that you don't think is accurate, what he said about the Sox.

Of course Coop is a snitch. He has been for years.

I'm surprised he hasn't been named manager yet.

Coop is a World Series Pitching Coach. Do not question him!

The literal minute of the show I heard had Goff saying the 7th and 8th men on an NBA bench today can do things that the superstars of the 80s can't do on a basketball court. You best believe. Click.

I'll listen. But his source for the Sox was the Guillens. I'm not sure he has an inside guy now. I might agree with what he's saying, but that doesn't mean he's not speculating the same way I am. It's tough to work a beat from two states away. Anyway, he obviously has an axe to grind with Kenny and Coop. I'd take that into consideration when judging his "reporting".

He certainly is a more interesting listen than most on the Score though. I'll give him that.

Hahaha, basketball expert. Which 7th best bench player is better than Magic or Bird? Tony Snell?

Yep. It's nonsense. The players are less skilled now than ever.

No hyperbole either. That's a direct quote. Kareem wouldn't stand a chance against those guys.

Cowley was Board Enemy #1 circa three years ago. Maybe there's hope yet for Julie DiCaro.

Hmm we need a poll on Board Enemy #1:

Ditka
Spada
North
Bernstein
Larz
Spmack (j/k!)

Well, Senor Columnist is definitely #1, pace Don Tiny and Boilermaker Rick. From there, I'd say it's a photo finish between Mac, North, Larz, and pittmike.

It warms my heart if Bernsie is #1. He is everything that is wrong with SJW, trolling, and the current state of sports talk radio. A listener should not feel angry after hearing a sports show. When I noticed I came away angry from listening to his show, I stopped patronizing that garbage. The CTE and Penn State stuff took me over the edge.

Cowely was really good today. But I like him, I don't know why some of you don't like him.

Anyway, Cowely would be great paired with someone a bit more intelligent that knows how to drive and carry a show. Then I wonder if that would be too much Joe every day...

Okay, I listened to it. It's pretty funny that Cowley mocks Kenny's relationship with Bob Nightengale without seeming to realize his own relationship with the Guillens is no different. Talk about a lack of self-awareness.

I listened to most of the show yesterday and it seemed like Goff had to continually reel Cowley back in as he started to say something with a bite.

It was nice to hear Goff a bit worried and nervous with his hand no doubt on the dump button for the better part of 4 hours.

Cowley is an absolute asshat.

But Goff and Cowley would be a 1000 times better than Goff and Grimace

Listening to the last hour on podcast.

What is the story with Shark, Coop, and Sale?

I take it Shark does not like Coop?

Cooper likes guys who throw strikes. Samardzija is often afraid to throw strikes.

where does Sale fit in? They made it sound like Sale was stuck in between Shark and Coop?

I took it to mean they allowed Samadzija special treatment and Sale wanted it to.
