It's over.

We are bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, bad, and...bad.

There is no hope.

So what if the Oil are in last place in their division, and the Great Hockey Hope 2015 has a collarbone? The home team has no chance.

We are doomed.

Our MVP defenseman is out for another 3-4 weeks. Our aging first-line wing is DTD with a lower something. We are playing a lot of rookies and castoffs because we couldn't afford to keep our other aging castoffs and big contracts and miscalculating budding stars that will toil for other bad teams.

If the playoffs started today, our heroes would be out

We are doomed doomed doomed because our hockey team is the worst of all time

...wait - what's that you say? There are 68 regular-season games left, and if the playoffs started today, that would be fucking stupid because no non-weekly professional league would EVER start their playoffs a mere 14 games in ??????

Hawks are either gonna win tonight, or they are gonna lose tonight.

ENJOY THE RIDE.

The Oilers have been able to clown us just fine without McDavid.

I wish he wasn't hurt, I haven't seen him play an NHL game yet.

Hossa back tonight and Keith back in a week? That seems like it went by pretty quick.

Yeah, Keith heals like Wolverine.

The clips I've seen of McDavid have been pretty damn impressive, so what a shame it is that he's out. I don't think the Oilers are guaranteed a top pick without him, though; with the rest of their talent and decent coaching for the first time in God-knows-when, they should be fairly decent on the year. Probably won't make the playoffs because they'd have to finish third, but they'll be good...ish. The NHL needs the Oilers to be good again.

Game's on WGN-TV tonight, so if you're troll-Tweeting JDC, you have two minutes to advise her before she will have to start searching for it.

Jordan Eberle is back for the Oilers just as McDavid goes. I really really like Eberle. He should be their captain.

The good news is that Crawford has been amazing so far. The bad news is that he needed to be, as the Earlers fired 22 fucking shots at him in the SECOND PERIOD, and he stopped all of 'em. Meanwhile, the Hawks have all of 6 for the same period.

Hawks REALLY need some help on defense; they are allowing way too many breaks the other way.

No charges filed by the DA is my guess.

He was only thrown out for 5 minutes I think.
He was trying to fire up his flub-ass team. It didn't work.

God, Patrick Kane is so fucking good. A dumbass, yes, but also good. He's worth every penny.
