What you mean you're not going to throw a champagne celebration for a 3-5 team? They're clearly on the path to the playoffs.

Crazier things have happened but due to the fact they sport an 0-5 record in the NFC,it's not happening. I just want a team I can root for on Sundays that plays respectable football. When the draft comes,it comes no matter where they choose.

My God,I log on and nobody is talking about that great Bear victory? I'm not kidding either. Has this place become so preinvolved with blue sigs, personality clashes and silly subject matter(wink, wink) that we can't discuss a Bears MNF victory?

Say what you want about the putrid opponent, but that was a mighty fine game played by our beloved. Cutler was sloppy early which resulted in a pick6 but I felt he would get it together and he did. Alshon made some huge grabs and guys like Zac Miller, (great catch) Marc Mariani & Alton Smith even made contributions. IF the Bears can beat the Rams next Sunday, that sets them up nicely for a Thanksgiving Showdown in Toiletpaper City.

GO BEARS!

How about that prevent D!

4 guys on the line and the other 7 on the goal line from 25 yards out.

They figured the FG was a sure thing on the 3rd and goal,so just make sure they stay out of the EZ. It actually made sense THAT time.

really liked what I saw of Amos yesterday and liked what I saw of Fuller

There was a lot of bad tackling in that game otherwise.

It was a competitive game but not very well played. San Diego seemed to be missing just about all of their skilled players on both offense and defense, and the officials were letting the Bears get away with pick plays all night. Cutler's game-winning throw was actually terrible...it's a miracle it was caught. Alshon also missed a few catches he normally would come up with, and Gould sucked.

Other than the final drive the Bears pash rush sucked against one of the worst offensive lines in the league. Pass rushers go early in the draft. It's highly unlikely Myles Jack, Shaq Lawson and Joey Bosa make it out of the top 10.

Fuller has gotten a lot better the past couple weeks but the CB opposite him is still a huge black hole. Same goes for FS. Ramsey and Hargreaves are almost assuredly going in the top 10 (more likely top 5).

The Bears are setting themselves up for watching the next Khalil Mack get taken 10 picks ahead of them while they settle for the next Kyle Fuller. Or the nightmare scenario where all the impact defenders are gone and they are forced to take an offenaive player they don't need like last season.

Kind of. On the other hand there are a lot of guys who've emerged and some of the Bears needs are taking care of themselves. They're look set st RB, SS, LT, NT and are halfway there at ILB, OLB and CB. Contrast that to the beginning of the season when I honestly thought they might need an entirely new 11 defensive starters.

i think it's going to be this way now, actually. the "middle class" of the NFL has evaporated, and now you just have shit throughout with a few good teams and only one great team. too many top players are hurt, and the schedule is brutalizing.

on the other hand, the Steelers just sat back and let Bud Du Pree fall to them last year

That is the kind of GM I want Gase to be, the guy who takes value whenever it presents itself without much respect to position.

Agree...I think it would be funny if a relatively unheralded team like the Bengals went undefeated.

Well, to me it is. Maybe its the state of the Bears.

There is nothing new or exciting in this NFL to me

Todd Gurley is very exciting(until he tears his ACL two weeks from now).
