I agree with Silvy 100% on this. Although its not a freaking train wreck to listen to. It is extremely lackadaisical and boring. His voice is not meant for play by play, let alone color. The only thing I could think of was how bad it would be if Gumble was doing play by play and Denny Green doing color. Because, that was just HORRIBLE on westwood 1 last night. He had a few good comments (Green) but his voice is NOT meant for radio.

Zack just sent in a nice e-mail. Waddle refuses to say if he believes Gumble does a good job or not. This has everything to do with his employment at the NFL Network. I doubt they would fire him if he simply expressed that Bryant Gumble isn't doing very well.

waddle loves disputing me...but my point wasn't about preference it was about quality of broadcasting. who cares what you like and don't like or what you prefer to do, broadcasting is a profession. if gumball wasn't a name he'd be fired by now.

So Waddle thinks that a broadcaster who constantly screws up the names of players, shows absolutely no enthusiasm, and brings absolutely no insight to a game has to do with preference? I'd have to say no sports fan in their right mind would "prefer" Bryant Gumble in this role.

I almost understood W_Z's email. It was difficult with the marbles in Waddle's mouth combined with the pauses and giggles.

I liked when they spotted the ball near the goalline and Gumble said it looked short.

HELLO DUMB FUCK, THE CAMERA WAS NOT AT A 90 DEGREE ANGLE TO PLANE OF THE SPOT, IT WAS SHOWN AT AN ANGLE FROM BEHIND THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE.
