I caught this 4 year old movie on Sundance. It has a fantastic cast:Ben Affleck,Tommy Lee Jones & Kevin Costner lead an all-star cast in a movie about long time employees getting layed off and how they handle it. I really enjoyed it but thought it should have shown a little more about coping with job loss. It's a subject that has hit home with most Americans. It's tough to deal with and can really make a man or women feel worthless. That is addressed in the movie, too. Worth checking out.

I really enjoyed this movie. I thought it dealt w/ the coping aspect very well, especially Chris Cooper's character.

I thought maybe it could have thrown an extra 10 minutes or so in there with Afleck or Coopers character. I still loved it though.

 this movie was gay as shit

take the same story but make it with a guy whos been bustin his ass 60 hours a week at a construction job for 10 years only to make barely enough to cover bills and a shitty house THEN he loses his job due to the economy and his wife and kid leaves him because they literally need to find some dbag that has just enough money to put a roof over their head.

then it would be MUCH more in line with what has been happening. fuck this gay faggy ass dude who cries cause he cant play golf at the club and has to go home to his hot ass nurse wife who just happens to have a brother who owns a construction business that can afford to give her gay as shit husband a job until he gets his faggy white collar position back.
