i think dana had her on a 4 fight contract with maybe 2-3 left heading into this one with holm? personally my gut says (i had a typo that said "my guy says..." so maybe thats how it started with bernstein? =) AHEM. my gut says that i could see her doing a rematch against holm to try and get revenge.... and then that'd end her UFC/MMA career. only hangup is that i think she prolly wants to wrassle in the WWE (less physical risk and likely still really good if not even better dough) and you know dana aint gonna let her do that if she technically has a fight or two left on her deal with dana. even tho WWF and UFC claim that they dont technically compete with each other they sure are prolly listed in each other's no compete clauses, eh? =D

keep in mind that i know fuckall about UFC/MMA because i like women and i don't like movies about gladiators, joey. this is 100% from my guy (it wasn't a typo this time either

You can dislike him all you want, but he absolutely legitimized what was considered a freak show on par with Tough Man Contests and turned it into a multi-billion dollar sport. Not just anybody could have done that.

Look at Bellator and the other fringe MMA promotions in the US. They've been trying for years to rise up and compete with UFC. Only Bellator has been remotely successful. And that's due to having fights with guys who made their name in UFC and are way past their prime.

Can't say it any better than that. Anyone that thinks Dana White is bad for the sport is an idiot. The sport all together is in such a better spot now because of the hard work and vision of White.

Rousey is not really my girl either. I enjoyed watching her, and I gained a respect for the womens side of the sport through her, but I am not disappointed she lost to Holm. It was a lot of fun to watch. I was pulling for Miesha Tate to beat her in their fight.

Rousey will come back better after losing.
