A few of my friends and I discussed this. If I'm Kane, I fire the off-duty cop/driver or go over what his duties now are. I understand that he's a grown adult and needs to be responsible for his actions but obviously he needs a keeper, like Jack Hailey was for Rodman. If you know what your persona is....who you are (his comments at the rally)... then hire a decision maker if you can't stay sober.

I simply said I believed she was raped based on what little evidence was released. Others believed he was innocent. I still think it's illogical for someone to get a rape kit performed if they weren't raped. Plus, Kane was not exactly a person with a clean record. He demonstrated violence with the cabby incident, and immaturity with Madison and the Vancouver limo pics.

I am as much of a Hawks fan as anyone, and I wanted Kane to be innocent. I was just trying to take an objective view of the situation.

1. Yes, this case has proven that stupid insane people do stupid insane things that might not make any sense to someone with a brain. I think we can all agree that this broad and her family fall squarely into the "stupid insane" category.

2. Cabbie incident: over 6 years ago and to this day we still don't know who actually hit the cab driver and what happened. What we do know is that Kane ended up pleading to a much lesser charge. So in other words, there is no proof that he ever hit the cabbie or at least the DA didn't feel they had enough to prove it.

3. Madison: Nothing proved, just a drunk kid at a college party campus being a drunk kid. Some allegations of choking left in a comments section of a Deadspin article have taken on a life of their own.

4. Vancouver limo: Why is this even being brought up? Seriously, you're upset because a bunch of drunk 20 somethings (and John Madden) took their shirts off in a limo??? Seriously? You're bringing that up as some kind of evidence of Kane's immaturity? How about the fact that he was in a limo and not driving himself around? Was that immature as well?

In the video game world, we'd call you a fanboy. Let's be honest here, Kane has put himself in some poor situations, and we only know a small slice of his risky behavior. He is free to do whatever he wants, like getting naked with teammates in a limo or laying drunk on the streets of Madison.
