I'm going this weekend to cheer on my pugnacious ethnicist caricatures when they play the thinly veiled illumaniti attempt to mainstream satanism

Maybe a NU vs. Notre Dame Fiesta Bowl?

Does anyone really think Notre Dame is one of the four best teams in the country? I'd love to see Iowa kick the shit out of them.

Any basis for that other than pure ND hatred?

I havent followed it that closely but ND is one 2 pt conversion from being undefeated with one loss to the top team in the land. Seems pretty legit.

What, did you see the game Saturday? That game was a lost closer than the 20 point final and the 2 previous weeks they beat Indiana by 8 and Minnesota by 5.

Who would be favored in an Iowa-ND game at a neutral site?

I didn't say they were bad. I just don't think they're close to one of the four best teams in the country. I could say they squeaked by Temple too.

That's a silly question. Notre Dame might be favored against the Cubs, Jesus, and Ditka if you set up that match.

Temple is also rated higher than Purdue, Minnesota or Indiana.

I don't think so. But that isn't because they shouldn't be. It's because Notre Dame is like the Cubs in that they have many fans with ridiculous optimism.

Your guess or are you comfortable saying it would for sure be Iowa at this point?

I'm thinking it would be a 1-2 point swing in either direction.

They have 1 common opponent from this year...Pitt.

Other than Northwestern, Iowa played the easy half of the Big 10 this year.

I wouldn't be shocked to see them get run up and down the field in the Big 10 championship game.

Stanford will be a great test for ND this week...best team they've played since Clemson.

My guess for the National Championship game will be Clemson/Alabama.

 Your hatred of teams clouds your vision on the ones you like.

For the record, Im not very optimistic for ND in the playoffs. Kelly runs a good program though.

Of course it is my guess.

Iowa is the better team. Though, as JORR pointed out, you may get the ND betting bump.

Oh, I don't think they'll win the Big Ten championship. I just think they're better than Notre Dame.

Man, you guys are touchy.

It wasnt a smarmy question. Im saying is it a toss up or is it something where you'd be shocked if ND was favored?

That's all.

I always rooted for ND right up until that kid fell out of that firemans ladder while taping practice. The coach should have been launched.

Huh? I answered your question. That's it.

Iowa is the better team. So is Michigan State. OSU would be but they seem more interested in draft stock than a repeat title.
