I definitely didn't see that last bit coming at the end there. Hard to believe they could wrap this up in any kind of sense in just 3 episodes.

Just caught up. Kevin's not dead. Virgil told Kevin he would need a guide, and probably told Michael what he was going to do beforehand, which was why he was crying. The only thing I don't get is why he emptied the needle before he killed himself.

Great show.

Watched first 15 minutes at lunch and will finish tonight. They were talking in the parking garage when I turned it off. Very weird thus far.

That was great. This was the funniest episode of this show ever.

Kevin's reaction to being told what's going on in the car was great. I love that they gave him the plot of The Godfather as his mission.

Then, the ending was intense. Great hour.

It was interesting and kept my attention the whole time. Generally, I'm not a fan of episodes that do not move the plot along even an inch, even on a show like this where plot is very secondary, but it was a good episode. I hated the loud ass opera music continually interjected. I'm certain they could have found a less annoying way to convey whatever the hell that was supposed to convey.

It was a very interesting "dream/death" sequence. I appreciated the abstract thinking behind it but am still not tying all the strings together.
What was up with following the balloon guy to his ex brother in laws handicapped wife who was not handicapped in the episode? I am still
not sure about the bird flying around but the fact that the balck guy killed it at the end, I am guessing that was actually him killing himself.
I'd have to rewatch it at least once more to try to take some of the meaning from it all. Still trying to decipher him jumping into the well
to kill grown up Patty at the end. I guess he had to finish the job but there has to be more to it than that.

Holy shit.

To me, this is the best show in television history. We'll see where it goes.

Peeps, do you like it better than Lost?

I was crazy for Lost in those first 3 seasons so it's hard to compare for me.

I'll say it's on par with Lost for me.

If it remains strong and ends before it drags on, it will definitely surpass it.

Holy fuck.

Meg is insane.

Can't wait to see what happens next week.

This was just about a perfect season of TV.

Haven't seen the current ep, but International Assassin was some of the best TV I've seen in a while. This season has been great, one of my favorites. While season one was good but depressing at times this season strikes a better balance.

I think last night's episode was even better.

Im glad you guys like it, but JORR you're gonna have to make your GOAT chase.

Incidentally I got caught up in a Youtube vortex recently and ended up on Tony Soprano's most badass moments. Man that show was great.

It was, but going back and watching again....there was a ton of filler and bad episodes, filler characters and shallow writing. Not a majority but enough to scratch it from my list. Maybe that's true of all shows but since people on Twitter are saying it may be the GOAT....I gotta chime in. Not surprising though, seeing as David Chase wasn't expecting it to get renewed long term and only had material for the 1st season and little else.

Still one of my favorite shows.

Now let us get back to The Leftovers.

Stop trying to get us off track, RPB.

This season has really improved over a pretty good season last year. Liv Tyler was even good.

Saw a cool theory that Evie and the girls are planning to hang themselves from the bridge - which is why in Kevin's dream that guy on the bridge was working up ropes and nooses. Since Kevin was there when they disappeared, maybe he knows something about their plan which would explain the bridge guy whispering something to Kevin so he can stop it.

It's about the different reactions and how people cope with mass tragedy.

This season has been near-flawless.

I understand the plot but it just has no traditional arc or trajectory. It could be a good thing but its weird.

I don't know about near flawless. I think we were starved for action in season 1 and expectations were lowered

That's not Elvin, that's Carl Winslow's son!

Thank God he chose a college that let him play basketball and get a solid education!

I blame the Sopranos dream episode for all of it.

The worst episode of this season I think was the Laurie-Tommy episode, and that was even good in that it reintroduced Meg and her crazier version of the Guilty Remnant. There hasn't been an episode this season where I've felt they were just dragging.

He's still in Mapleton.

He will play a pivotal role in Season 3 when everyone goes back home.
