For the Curious Hair's of the board...The Wiz had great ratings last night. 11 Million.
Better than last year's Peter Pan.
While you all may not have liked it, a lot of people did, and the ratings proved it as well.
Full disclosure: I'm probably being extra sensitive lately because it seems like now more than ever, black people are being put into a negative light on EVERYTHING (unless it's sports).
I like this version of Spmack.
I don't. I kind of yelled at Good Dolphin just because he didn't like something. That's not right. I hope he accepts my apology.
You don't even want to know my thoughts about the woman who played Dorothy.
I understand the sensitivity. I really do believe that this is the most unsettling time of racial strife since the 60s. This is real. While I'd be considered socially liberal I am not nearly as left as the ideology of various movements (racial, gender and sexual) that have sprung up over the past year. This ends up giving me the appearance of a social conservative and at odds with where your mindset is today.
But I recognize that this is good. Clashing opinion tempers both sides.
I have always said that power does not cede power without revolution.
