For the record, he was a person.

His kids didn't

My comment is pretty clearly directed at the mother and author of the piece, not the kids.

The kids helped write the piece

Oh ok. I thought it was the mother. It goes without saying that the kids didnt choose to be born.

And I dont wanna run the lady down too much, but she made some questionable decisions if the endgame was a happy family life with children.

If the piece is true, it makes him look like a terrible father.
Lots of rock stars have a rock star lifestyle and yet still share a lot of life's moments with their kids.......they just may not remember all of them. Or any of them.

Eddie Van Halen was about as messed up as you can be with his demons. By all accounts I have read including his ex he has been a wonderful father. It probably isn't hard with an effort that Weiland did not seem to be able to do.

 I stand by the comment as being a valid point though. I think we have all had feelings or maybe fallen in love with someone that we knew probably wasn't right for us
and didn't care. We saw the good side of them and looked past the imperfections, maybe hoping they would dissipate or that we could help them fix their problems. As a person
who has had his own problems over the past decade I just took his comment at face value. Just my two cents on that. Had no idea about the in house meme.

I see in the comments section of the article, she's getting pasted . A lot of people basically echoing RPB's sentiment about her choice of a father. Thats said, whats done is done, when you have the kids, you have to step up and be a father. He seemed like a poor excuse for one ( granted this is based on her story). In my mind and as someone who has never done drugs it goes to show how incredibly powerful the pull of them must be because after having had a child I can think of no vice that is strong enough to make me want to stay away from my son and being a Dad to him. Sad story all around.

If Iowa had beaten MSU, you would have been impregnated.

Bout time to give it a rest sport.

Give what a rest?

We never got an answer on this.

You think he was high as fuck in the rocking chair during that MTV Unplugged show? Never cared for that song.

My Second Album is definitely the quintessential STP song.
