Mike North interviews Dusty Baker tomorrow morning. With the two of them talking, I may be forced to listen. Not to hear a great interview, just for Who You Crappin' material.

The Score is understandibly hyping it, but I don't think we're going to see the fireworks that many are expecting.

I'm sure there will be some Kerry Wood talk, bullpen talk, Rafael Furcal talk, and conversation about Dusty's role/future.

There might just be something here.

North is a Sox guy. He knows they are never going to get to the Cubs on WSCR. After the Ozzie Interview, even he might have heard people saying he was torn to peices.

North knows people thinks he lost his edge. I think he is going in under the theory he has nothing to lose at this point. Not like Dusty will be coming back anytime soon.

He has a legit chance to make this an all time "best of..." interview. As you guys pointed out, there is really nothing he has to worry about from business standpoint. The only ones risking a backlash from Dusty are Ofman, Shuster, and occasionally Holmes. What does Mike care?

All the above being said, I have a feeling this will be a slow pitch 16 inch game.

Going to be a a Urlacher like moment,

"hey Buddy, why don't you and I get a drink." at the end.

Just saw a pic of Dusty from the miltary days, guessing he might bring that up, etc.

Mike does NOT do a good job interviewing people as he thinks, he does a good job of kissing their asses by trying to find some common ground and be their buddies.

Expect nothing from this...still easy enough for Dusty to simply hang up if he objects to anything. Maybe idiot-boy Fred can ask him whether blacks drive faster than whites. What would really be fun would be to hear Dusty turn the tables and interview North about all his racial slurs in the past.

Dusty has absolutely no room to be lecturing others because they make ignorant or racially oriented remarks.

But Dusty's mother was a history teacher in Sacramento, so he's a certified expert on those things, if you'll recall

:P

Should have been a "My ignorance is bigger than your ignorance" discussion. Guess Dusty would have won that too...

Sorry to parade my utter unhipness and moronic ignorance, but who is Pauly Shore?

He's also the talentless "actor" who starred in utter shit such as Encino Man and Son-In-Law.

How far has pauly's career fallen when he is reduced to doing interview's on local radio. A poorly rated local radio show at that.

When has Pauly ever been on the Hollywood A-list? Based on his incredible lack of talent, I'd say his career has sought it's own level.
