Can't wait for all the "Cubs are expected to win, so if they don't they'll have choked" takes. Looking at you, subdivision Illuminati.

What kind of moron expects the Cubs to win? A never ending series of wait 'til next years. Cub fans: this is the life you have chosen.

Good to see some Cub fans actually hold their team to a high standard.

If the Cubs don't win a WS in the next 5 years I would be shocked. Only a plane crash could explain that.

That's the case for next year. We need 1 more top of the rotation arm. Bet the farm on a young #1.

No, it's the Cubs, so they'll need 5 #1 starters to be able to compete.

People said that about a 99 win team that added the best right-handed pitcher in history too.

Javy Vazquez was not the best right hander in history.

More dominance from Arrieta, a better year from Lester, another good year from Lackey, who will win at least 15 and have a sub 3.50 ERA. Over 30 homers and 100 RBI from Bryant, another 30/ 100 year from Rizzo, 35 or more HR's from Scwarber, a higher batting average/OBP from Addison Russell, 102 wins in the regular season and a World Series Championship!

As a neutral observer, it is not.

But, I'm guessing, just like last year, we'll hear how the playoffs is crapshoot and every team has the same chance of winning.

The best seat I ever had in Wrigley was front row of the CF Bleachers. It was a hot summers day and the cleavage walking back and forth underneath us was amazing. So much for the Geigh Bar,

It's just four coin flips. Every game is random. Theo didn't make a single move this year that made them more likely to win a World Series.

It's really quite a tough thing. If your White Sox can somehow sneak into the playoffs, they have the same exact chance of winning it all.

I don't know how it's set up now but we were right above an exit at least that's how I remember it. All I know,it was hot and steamy, the place was packed and my buddy (Sox Fan) & I,saw a hell of a lot of cleav that day.

.

I think Heyward will have a line something like .250/.346/.411/.757 with about 17HR and 20 SB

I think Lackey will have a first half of 102 IP/2.89ERA/3.13 FIP
