Yeah, Im not sure. There is a chance they are just loosening restrictions while we move so everyone can get going and they'll try and redo it down the line.

Well, if they get enough push back they may be worried about keeping employees.

It sounds dumb, but restricting all internet usage can make for a much less enjoyable workplace.

I think there idea was to restrict everything and add what we need. Should probably go the other way.

That's a great idea until your best employee(likely you) has his work life quality lessened by it and thinks it may be time for a change.

Yea, to be honest they dont have a problem with our side (trading/operations). We have down time while we just wait for issues or customers to call in orders.

Its the people with project type jobs who put them off for 45 mins at a time to go on Facebook.

With my job the phone rings twice and my boss starts getting angry so there is no slacking.

Either a Christmas miracle or an elaborate attention whoring. I'll let everyone judge for himself. Panther would be proud if he were still posting.

A shout out thread to everybody else on the board is an attention whoring attempt?

Well... there is no firewall, but they aren't allowing us to use Chrome right now. And I don't know that I can trust Internet Explorer with battling the virus issues that pop up here from time to time.

The Chrome discussion is on going. This is a fluid situation.
